The Antonus 3620 is a sophisticated keyboard, sequencer, and CV/MIDI controller designed to be an expressive, powerful, logical, and intuitive tool. Inspired by the classic ARP 3620, the Antonus 3620 goes further by incorporating many new features and enhanced connectivity, capable of interacting with both voltage–controlled systems and MIDI devices.

Designed for anyone looking for a professional controller with a beautiful look and finish, featuring high-quality, full-size keys that work simultaneously with both MIDI and CV.

We were inspired by the original 3620 design philosophy, where the aesthetic and benefits of using big controls offered a big pleasure. This concept is deeply connected to the early days of analog systems, when patching possibilities and human-scale ergonomics defined the personality of the instrument and its bond with the musician.

At the same time, the modern high–performance digital processor allows us to unlock a level of functionality and expressive control that was unimaginable back then.

About the 3620
The Antonus keyboard was designed with two primary goals in mind:

To complete the Antonus System idea with Antonus 2600 (the main synthesizer), Step Brother (the sequencer) SidecARP (The Expander) finishing with the keyboard preserving the original ARP spirit .

To deliver a fully self-contained controller, capable of being used as a standalone (beyond the Antonus System), a versatile and unique tool for a wide range of synthesizers and devices beyond Antonus.
The keyboard accommodates a wide variety of setups. For instance, the CV section can operate in monophonic, duophonic, biphonic, or bi-timbral modes (with independent lower and upper voices). With MIDI, it supports full polyphony as well as bi-timbral operation (transmitting on two separate channels in split mode).

We added advanced features, including CV-controlled portamento, interval latch control, aftertouch, velocity sensitivity, LFO sync, random generators, and a powerful arpeggiator/sequencer controllable via external clock. It also features a powerfull split mode that turns the unit into a true bi-timbral keyboard.

Fitting all of these capabilities within the size of the original ARP 3620 panel was a genuine engineering challenge. We achieved it while maintaining playability and a clean layout, strictly avoiding digital screens or menu-diving that would compromise its classic design spirit and tactile performance experience

Style
Keyboard Sizes
We offer two keyboard options: the classic 49-key and the compact 37-key.
37-Key Version
The 37-key version was designed to pair with the Antonus 2600 “mini” models crafted between 2015 and 2024. It is also an ideal match for other small size factor 2600 clones, making it the perfect choice for space-conscious studios and smaller setups.

49-Key Version
The 49-key version delivers a full performance experience especially when controlling polyphonic MIDI synthesizers. Keyboardists in particular will appreciate the extra octave, along with the authentic look, feel, and proportions of the original icon.

Tolex vs. Metal
We preserve the classic look using traditional Tolex-covered cases, capturing the authentic spirit of legendary 1960s and 70s instruments. Beyond its vintage appeal, it offers a self-contained, road-ready design an ideal feature for touring musicians.

Keeping this traditional manufacturing process alive demands extensive manual labor in woodworking, covering, and hardware assembly, which naturally increases production costs and limits annual output per year.

For studio-focused setups or musicians who don’t require a portable flight case, we also offer a metal chassis version. It serves as a more accessible, available option that provides a sturdy, stylish, and keeping a professional look.

Classic Tolex Case: A tribute to the original 1970s icon. Covered with traditional Tolex, this version is perfect for those seeking the authentic vintage look. It is self-contained, road-ready design makes it ideal for touring and live performances.
Metal Case: a sturdy and more accessible alternative. Finished in a professional textured black coating, this steel enclosure offers a compact and elegant footprint design for contemporary recording studios.
