"I bought a Move. Here's a quick overview of how I used it with my modular to build this track • Endogenous - dark ambient ritual psychedel...

TLDR: The Move is great. Works really well using the Intellijel MIDI 1U via USB to sync the modular to the Move and send a channel of pitch, gate & velocity.

"I wanted to see just how lush the 1010Music Bento could be if I needed to use it on the road for a film score. All the sounds are stock except for 2 vocal loops and recorded directly into the phone via a Zoom LiveTrak 6 in my living room next to my dog.

I used the Squarp Hapax as a midi controller to get the chords and arpeggios recorded in there."

"Things are getting interesting! 1010Music released Ver 1.0.27Beta, and boy does it rip!

From their forum:
'We are pleased to make available a beta of bento available to you. It includes several new features:
Scenes. You can now group launch a sequence or loop on each track. Use the pads on the SONG screen to launch them
Song Mode. Prepare up to 8 scenes, play them sequentially, and repeat them as you go
External Tracks. Hook up an external synth or drum machine and use the bento to sequence and mix the audio. You can even apply effects to the audio input. (We combined the idea of an Audio and MIDI track into a single track type.)
Copy and Paste. Easily duplicate sequences and scenes
More sequences. Each track can now have up to 8 sequences
Pad based launching. On the LAUNCH screen you can now use the pads to switch between sequences and loops
Improved Pad Performance. New approach is more resistant to double hits
Battery Charging Indicator. Get visual feedback on whether or not the unit is plugged in and charging.
Swing Amount. Make your groove really sing'

I am so excited to see what I can come up with now. Bento keeps on surprising me.

Only 16 Samples?! This Minimal Eurorack Techno Slaps!

"I wanted to see what I could create using ONLY 16 samples.

This is a really basic setup with triggers and modulation only, no pitch sequencing.

This setup also does not allow for any velocity programming, every sound triggers at 100% max velocity - making it almost impossible to program build ups to help with the ebb and flow of the track.

I also did not have any room for riser or impact sounds which really help with keeping the intensity level a bit higher.

All things considered though, it's not a half bad track - just a little basic, perhaps... ;)
