DSP Synthesizers 3HP Paperface Euro Modules Now Available
Saturday, August 19, 2017
DSP Synthesizers 3HP Paperface Camelion Now Available
"The 3HP Paperface Camelion DSP module is now available for order.
Both as a kit or prebuilt.
If anyone remembers the dsp-Host with a 8-pin DIP socket on the panel the Paperface DSP works in the same way. You make your own modules.
It is built on the ATtiny85 but uses the TinyAudioBootloader.
The name “Paperface” comes from the classic Serge look with white panels.
The TinyAudioBootloader makes it possible to upload new firmware through the audio out port without a programmer just replaying a wavefile at startup.
The Camelion is open-source and the project page can be found here."

DSP Synthesizer Euro Modules Now Open Source
via DSP Synthesisers:
"A number of DSP Synthesizer Euro modules has now been open sourced.
Among those the popular CZ-VCO Phase Distortion Oscillator:

PCB's and code can be found in the 3HP Paperface blog:
https://janostman.wordpress.com/the-3hp-paperface-euro-modules/"
First Play: CZ-VCO & Strakal Brulu
ApolaKipso
Published on Oct 21, 2016
"First play with these two modules, also testing whether the camera still works. CZ-VCO'S EASTER EGG IN THE DESCRIPTION.
PATCH NOTES
Clocked and sequenced from Ableton Live using the Arturia MicroBrute as sound source and as CV interface for the CZ-VCO.
The two voices go into the Optomix (used as dual VCA) and on into the Pittsburgh Modular MIX3, which isn't more than a buffered mult to feed the two inputs on the Tiptop Audio Z-DSP.
The Z-DSP is my end-of-chain reverb and running the Valhalla card, obvs.
Maschine and Mutable Instruments Peaks supply the drums (the latter being sequenced from the Beatstep Pro).

Limited Sale on DSP-Gplug Until End of July
via DSP Synthesizers
"The dsp-Gplug is a version of the dsp-G1 analog modeling synthesizer built into a MIDI plug.
Ostman calls it “the smallest VA MIDI Synth in the world.”
The dsp-Gplug is designed to be both patched and controlled via MIDI. A MIDI editor is available.
The synth has 15 oscillators, structured as a 5-note paraphonic synth, with a 24db lowpass filter with resonance. It also has AMP ENV, filter ENV and LFO, with sine or sample & hold waveform.
Works great with the Beatstep Pro Sequencer.

New 3HP DIY DSP Euro Module from DSP Synthesizers
via Jan of DSP Synthesizers
"I got tired of eurorack and put it on hold for a while.
But what happens when 8bitmixedtape has this great audio bootloader?
It inspired me to make the 3HP DSP module and got me hooked again.
The module works the same as my dsp-Host.
3 analog inputs. 2 of them with attenuators and one audio output.
So whats so different with this one?
It can be reprogrammed through the audio out jack.
Without a programmer!
Just play a wavefile from a phone, MP3 player or your PC with the firmware and it’s a new module.
Use the Arduino IDE to make your own programs or use the downloadable editor to make VCOs, filter, delays or anything you can imagine and reprogram the module with an audio cable.
It is of course open-source and all info including code and PCBs for the Phase Distortion Oscillator can be found at:
https://janostman.wordpress.com/the-3hp-paperface-euro-modules/
Many thanks to the 8bitmixedtape crew for the support and letting me join.
Cheers"
