WMD Cosmic Debris / Skorpion and Clutch – Bristonica 25
video upload by Stromkult
"WMD, in the Eurorack-Buisness since decades, released just some new modules.
Skorpion an 8-stage analog wavefolder, that can simple sounds into Sound architectures, it's such a powerful module, hear yourself!
Clutch is a Hihat Module which brings your grooves to the next level. Hihats are (at least for me) one of the most important elements in techno, so having a dedicated module in your rack just to have hands on control on these is so great. Hear yourself the Module at the Beginning of the Video
Cosmic Debris is a powerful delay and reverb engine built for modular explorers who want more than just echoes. It's an in depth sound design monster for every kind of Time related effects and give you different kinds of effects. A freeze function is also included, sound so good). The whole spec sheet is not released now, so check the WMD-Page in a while for more detailed Infos!

MACHINA BRISTRONICA w/ Stromkult
video uploads by Stromkult
Playlist:
1. MPE on Supercritical Synthesizer Redshift 6 - Bristonica 25
Now capable of MPE!2. Verbos Electronics Multistage 16- Bristronica 25
The latest Redshift update introduces MPE functionality.
This feature, which addresses frequent customer requests, enables compatibility with MPE-capable controllers, such as the LinnStrument.
New evolution of the Voltage Multistage, one of the first Verbos Modules.3. Ohm Force Bohm - Bristronica 25
The original Voltage Multistage has an analog sequencer core with several unique features that allow it to function as a sequencer with switchable slides on each step, multistage envelope of any length with sustain on any stage, any shape of LFO, voltage quantizer, and more.
The Voltage Multistage 16 is no longer based on a CMOS counter core, but is built around discrete transistor stages, which enables gate inputs on each stage. This allows external gates to jump it to any stage, multiple loops and sequences that start at one stage and then enter into a loop later.
Explore uncharted kick territory. Choose from nine unique models (and counting) and let the randomizer surprise your creativity. Precision sound-shaping knobs with wide sweet spots make flawless tweaks effortless.4. TouellSkouarn - Bristronica 25
Gael is revealing the modules that are currently housed in his suitcase. Including the Strakal Brulu and the one and only Germanium Mixer. If you check the prices of old Germanium mixers, such as the Siemens, you will see that this one is a real bargain. As always, there is a lovely sound at his booth; no sine is allowed to pass through this Eurorack system.5. Crosspatch Triggerpad Updates - Launchpad Sequencer - Bristronica 25
TouellSkouarn: Squaring your sines since 2010
Mitja tells us the latest news about his module at this year's Machina Bristonica. The Triggerpad module converts your Launchpad into a standalone Eurorack. This allows you to repurpose an older Launchpad that might be gathering dust for your Eurorack system. The workflow is super simple and hands-on. You have features such as polymeter per track, swing and micro steps at your fingertips. The new features are BPM modulation and triplets.6. UDO Audio DMNO 8-voice 2-part multitimbral - Bristonica 25
We have just had the opportunity to take a first look at the new, innovative synth from UDO Audio: the DMNO.7. Teaching Machines FuzzBillon: Numerical Tone Switching – Bristronica 25
Here's a short interview and sound demo from George!
Features:
8 voice polyphonic, with 4 ‘super’ voices when in Binaural mode. Binaural mode gives each channel (ear) a full synthesizer voice with independent detuning and modulation, creating an expansive, rich and texturally wide sound 2-Part Multitimbral, comprising 2 independent hybrid synthesizers, each with its own dedicated set of front-panel controls
8 selectable ‘Play Modes’ that immediately reconfigure DMNO’s signal flow, redefining how its two independent synth engines interact with one another
Instead of using potentiometers for the device's settings, Teaching Machines uses numerical switches. This offers the advantage of total recall. The effects range from subtle overdrive to screaming distortion and are based on a completely analogue circuit with amplification devices from Germanium to Silicon and light-emitting diodes. Shipping soon!

MACHINA BRISTRONICA LØSTLVLS
video uploads by LØSTLVLS
Playlist:
1. - 4. ERICA SYNTHS HEXDRUMS 01 - 04 // MACHINA BRISTRONICA '25 // LØSTLVLS
I got to spend some quality time with the Hexdrums - it sounds really beefy and each voice has a tonne of sweet spots. The Hexdrums has loads of saturation available, is built to a high standard and feels very performative. This is the first of four videos.5. ERICA SYNTHS PERKONS HD-01 // MACHINA BRISTRONICA '25 // LØSTLVLS
Check out my samples on Bandcamp - loads of vintage and modern drum machines and more, all samples ethically-sourced and locally-grown here in the lab in Bristol, UK: https://lostlvls.bandcamp.com/
The formidable Perkons HD-01 was available at Machina Bristronica - how could I resist? For my money the Perkons is the most 'jammable' and gratifying drum machine on the market, hands-down. The person using it before filming this session was dancing and really enjoying their time with it. Was a joy to witness!6. MODOR DR-2 // MACHINA BRISTRONICA '25 // LØSTLVLS
The excellent DR-2 drum machine from Modor aka Marcel Belmans. Was a treat to finally meet Marcel and discuss his creations. In this video Marcel kindly demonstrated the DR-2 for us.7. BODY SYNTHS METAL FETISHIST x2 // MACHINA BRISTRONICA '25 // LØSTLVLS
Been wanting to check this little weirdo out for some time - two is even better!

Dubby "this is the ultimate music tool" by Componental // DivKid Discussion Machina Bristronica 2024
video upload by DivKid
You might remember Dubby from this set of Machina Bristronica videos.
"Back at Superbooth I was pleasantly surprised to see a quadrophonic dub delay called Dubby, learning that it could work in quad, dual stereo, 4x mono or a whole range of flexible FX routings sounded great. Fast forward to Machina Bristronica for the DivKid Discussion (on the DivKid stage!) I had the pleasure of sitting down for a conversation and demo of Dubby with Rasmus from Componental. Here's that discussion.
Dubby is currently live on Kickstarter at the time of publishing with around a week to go. If you'd like to support it (it's well over funding, so it's happening already) here it is // https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/..."
"Dubby is a powerful, standalone device designed to simplify the creative process and put you in full control of your sound - whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced musician. With no computer needed, just plug-and-play.
Perfect for singers, producers, instrumentalists, and modular synth enthusiasts alike, Dubby fits seamlessly into your workflow. Its intuitive, hands-on controls make it fun to explore new sounds, from quadraphonic effects to custom synths. Whether you're jamming at home, recording in the studio, or performing live, Dubby gives you the freedom to personalise your music-making experience, allowing you to map and control every parameter your way.
And with Dubby’s open platform, you can even customise both the hardware and software, unlocking endless possibilities for creativity and exploration.
Immediate Immersion and Flow: Dubby works out of the box and is set up to be a fun and engaging music device, either as an audio effect, synthesizer, or music tool.
Endless Possibilities: Upload new audio effects and synthesisers directly from the Dubby App Store, accessible through a web browser, making Dubby a versatile addition to any setup.
Tactile Interface: Designed with musicians in mind, Dubby features an intuitive hardware interface with select controls for seamless interaction during live performances or studio sessions.
Fully Stand-Alone Functionality: Dubby can run advanced real-time audio algorithms, freeing you from the computer. Take your favourite effects, synths, and tools out of the box!
Quadrophonic Sound: Experience immersive, high-fidelity audio with Dubby's quadrophonic capabilities.
Customisable and Programmable: Tailor Dubby to your specific needs by swapping side panels to your liking. Choose between faders, buttons, and expression / footswitch jacks. With programming in popular languages like Max/MSP Gen~, Pure Data (coming), and C++, you can modify existing algorithms or create entirely new ones."
he calls it: delayf**ker - Power Glitch - Sonic State Demo at Machina Bristonica
video upload by Componental
"The delayf**ker is a performance effect that pushes digital echo to its limits, with real-time manipulations getting ‘stuck’ in the feedback loop for dynamic sound-on-sound edits. It delivers rich, glitchy audio textures, ranging from Karplus-Strong and micro-looping to traditional echo and chorus. With control over delay time, feedback, and buffer freezing, you can experiment on the edge of stability for unique sonic outputs. Despite its experimental nature, it's highly versatile, offering sounds from subtle to chaotic, for live or studio use."
Early Bird Price: €456

PWM Mantis Quick Look
video upload by Starsky Carr
"WASP - OSCAR - MANTIS. From original thoughts of Chris Huggett, PWM and he worked together on his final designs before his untimely death. PWM have realised his vision plus some extras like the ability to play 4 voices (quad paraphonic) on what was originally a duophonic idea. ... I think!
The PWM Mantis is a unique synth .. a bit like a vintage synth being brought to the market in the 21st century. I say almost like a vintage because it does have all the modern features you'd expect."
