"Samplr on iPad and 12U (well, actually 12,5U) of eurorack.
Samplr plays some acoustic guitar samples that I’ve sampled before.
The thunderstorm sounds are being controlled with the MakeNoise Pressure Points on the right hand side. The Pressure Points trigger and the 3 CVs go to the Basimilus Iteratis which goes through a Doepfer A-124 Wasp Filter. The filter cut-off is modulated with the pressure out of the left hand Pressure Points. All this receives some heavy reverb and delay treatment in the mixer from EHX Cathedral and Deluxe Memory Boy.
"Updated with more video.... The known Snare fix is great, but I prefer a fully undistorted/folded noise snare... so I looked and found 3 variations. I'll be adding a switch for 'Off, S1, S2, S3'."
"Hi all! Here is my first 'hardware live jam' with the Korg Electribe 2 which I bought 2nd hand a couple of weeks ago.
Since the previous owner had hardly used it it was still on a hackable firmware.. So now It's a hacked E2 running the E2S sampler firmware.
I only used it briefly in combination with other gear in my previous couple of tracks, but I always like to try and know what is possible with a piece of hardware using it standalone.. It's also a nice way to learn a machine some more and as you can see.. I still have a lot to learn.. I am hitting that 'Electribe 2 Polyphony Barrier' quite regularly unfortunately..
So anyway.. As usual.. Just some live 'mindless 4 on the floor' minimal techno music directly out of the E2 output with the usual mistakes and errors, but I hope you like it :)
Tracklist:
00:01 - E2House
03:01 - Space Police
08:45 - Second Rainbow
13:46 - Minimal Movement (E2H Remix)

"After a year of some live performances it was nice to do a new track in my home studio. Its a simple 16 step sequence made with the Doepfer DDT, starting with the Moog LP at 2:40 and the Waldorf micro Q at 4:35.
The intro is a combination of a Roland SH32, the same Waldorf and a Kawai K1. Choir sound is from the Kawai K4. E-piano and solo from the Roland U-110 and the Korg DS8. Between a bit Roland 106 pad sound and a Korg Lambda string sound.

"Roland SH-101 Vintage Analog Synthesizer w/Boss PSA 120 adapter - Professionally Tuned, Calibrated and Modified by Retro Linear in North Wales, PA. Just about every SH-101 does or will exhibit tuning issues in relation to the power switch, even once the switch is replaced, often the problem returns. The solution is to bypass the power switch by having jumpers installed, so you plug it in to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off. I had this work professionally done recently by Retro Linear in North Wales, PA, along with tuning, calibration and pitch/mod wheel/pot repair and replacement. Beyond that it's a standard SH-101, it's got some nicks, scratches and discolorations that are to be expected from a 30 year old instrument..."
