KORG minilogue MIDI test : playing with MIDI keyboard (KROME88)
Published on Jan 31, 2016 karenevil
"After the initial test drive I placed my minilogue just above the KROME 88 and patched to my system including MIDI IN and OUT.
In this video I'm playing minilogue from KROME.
Also trying to MIDI clock sync then both KROME's drum and minilogue's sequencer are synced perfectly."

Buchla Music Easel - First Rough Test
Published on Jan 31, 2016 Genshi Media Group
"First off, this isn't mine; a trusting friend let me borrow it for a few days. Second, out of all the synths I've ever played - from an ARP2600, to a Fairlight CMI IIx, to Eurorack Modulars - this Buchla Music Easel is the most confusing thing I've ever tried to get a sound out of! Really baffling the way it works! This is my first 10 minutes with it, and I almost wasn't going to upload the video, but since I only have it for a few days, I wanted to document my first encounter with it. Hopefully in the next day or two I will have a better demo before I have to give it back..."

Korg Minilogue Overview
Published on Jan 31, 2016 AiynZahevSounds
"Part One of my overview of the Korg Minilogue. I'll be doing some more musical demos next video. This is dry into the Audient ID22, I normalized the audio to compensate for quieter parts.
Please check out www.aiynzahev-sounds.com for my sound design/patches"

"So I'm currently kind of starting a new little project which will be more dark technoish again, even tough I don't know if I'll be able to play it anywhere. And while my XBase is unfortunately broken, I'm using the octatrack as a supplement.
Equipment this time..

ROLAND PROMARS Analog Synthesizer 1978 | HD DEMO
Published on Jan 31, 2016 AnalogAudio1
"(c) 2016 by AnalogAudio1
Demo of the original Roland Promars. Its excellent sound qualities can not be really simulated by software. The original hardware Promars is soundwise not comparable with the new "plugout" software.
I played the Roland Promars with reverb effects from a Lexicon MPX-500 and delay effects from a Korg SDD-3000.
The Roland Promars is a programmable monophonic analog synth. Basically it's a monophonic version of the Roland Jupiter-4. But on the Promars, you have 2 VCO's per voice, not 1 VCO like on the Jupiter. VCO 2 is always identical to VCO 1 except tuning (same volume, same suboscillator, same waveform).
2 VCOs, 2 suboscillators, 24 dB lowpass filter, non resonant highpass filter, 2 envelopes, noise generator, extremely fast LFO with many waveforms, 8 memory locations to store own sounds and a powerful classic Roland sound makes the Promars a great synthesizer."
Modular Jam 43: "I'm Listening To Reason"

"Bassline was constructed using Medic Cranial Saw and Rubicon into the Minimod voice (VCF-EGs-VCA) sequenced by Audio Damage Sequencer 1
West Coast generative sequence was produced using Sequencer 1 to modulate Wogglebug's clock and Woggle's stepped out to modulate Rene's pattern. The voice involved one channel of the Optomix receiving shape modulated STO and the other receiving through zero FM signals from the Rubicon folded through the Nonlinear Circuits Timbre, both enveloped by Make Noise Maths.
The pitch-less howling voice is a cross mod between the two Sputniks through the Timbre and the Optomix (again, Maths). The random gate out on Wogglebug is used to piss off the 4ms PEG's action toggle which is feeding CV to the additional CV in on one of the swarming beehives...erm Sputniks

"This cheerful little tune was done entirely with sounds only from Mutable Instruments Shruthi-1 synthesizers. The original sketch for this song had more of a chip-tune / arcade game theme style, but it turned into kind of an electronic pop / trance track in the end.
I am selling one of my Shruthis (with a 4 Pole Mission filter board), so I wanted to record one song that showcases this fun little synth before I give it away. There is one pad sound, for which I sampled the notes from a Shruthi with a SSM2044 filter board. All other sounds, including drums and FX, are from the 4 Pole Mission Shruthi.
Multitracked on a BOSS BR-600 without MIDI, then mixed with Tracktion 6 DAW on Linux. The drum sounds and a pad where sampled from the Shruthi and then sequenced in the DAW.
Effects used: Delay and Chorus from the BR-6000, Calf Vintage Delay, zita-reverb, ZamComp, Tracktion Chorus and EQ.
