P-MODEL - ArtMania
YouTube via HitoToAbura. One more via the world of next tuesday in the comments of this post.
"P-MODEL 1980 NHK Techno pop feature" Reminded me a bit of Oingo Boingo. Guess the synths.
BTW, check out this cover by POLYSICS, and if you have 25 minutes to burn check out this video: Future Screen of TOKYO New Wave. It starts with this track done in 1999. New synths including a Nord Lead and JP-8000.
Hikashu - At the end of the 20th century

"HIKASHU 1980 NHK Techno pop feature"
This one reminds me of Roxy Music's Virginia Plain meets New Wave. Guess the synths.
PLASTICS - COPY

"PLASTICS 1980 NHK Techno pop feature"
Reminded me a bit of early Cure and PIL. Guess the synths.
Jones.com Guitar Synths
I ran into this site in the auction details of the previous post. Title link takes you there. When you get there be sure to scroll to the very bottom of the page and check out the "Demos" link. They are video demos and they do a good job of showcasing the guitar synths. I never realized the GR-700 was this big. The main page also lists some Roland GR-300 mods.
Roland GR-700
Title link takes you to more shots pulled via this auction. More info on the GR-700 on Jones' GR-700 page.
