Moon Modular 569 Post Calibration Fun

YouTube Uploaded by JohnLRice on Dec 31, 2011

"After calibrating the quantizers on my Moon Modular 569 sequencer I had a little fun with it.

A separate MOTM-300 VCO controlled by each of the 4 rows of the 569 with the transposition controlled by row 1 of a Synthesizers.com Q960 sequencer and Modcan 55B quantizer combo. Rows 2 and 3 of the Q960 feed into a COTK switch to feed CV control a MOTM-440 VCF that is processing the VCO's output through the Roland mixer's effects loop. Also feed by the effects loops are a COTK C1660 Phase Processor + Grove Audio PM Resonator and a Modcan 59B digital delay. The Moon 569, Q960 and 59B are all clocked by a Modcan 53B clock with reset sync on the 569 provided by step one trigger out of the Q960.

Thanks for watching. Look for some exciting video technique upgrades coming to my videos in 2012! Happy new year, all!"

Could You Spell It (Korg KO1, Zoom MRT-3 & H4)

YouTube Uploaded by ratface1987 on Dec 31, 2011

"A spur of the moment jam. Dusted off the Zoom Micro Rhythm Track and was surprised at how pleased I was with everything. I bought it about 10 years ago and it still works perfectly despite some pretty heavy usage throughout the years.

Let me know what you think! :)

Korg Polysix synthesizer demonstration

YouTube Uploaded by fishjaco on Jun 14, 2010

"This is a demo of a Korg Polysix synthesizer with Miditec MIDI kit installed. The video demonstrates the keyboard's basic capabilities as well as the use of the Ableton Live MIDI arpeggiator and chord memory, replacing the on-board arpeggiator and chord memory disabled by the Miditech kit. The Polysix was recorded dry / without effects through an E-MU 1212 PCIe sound card and KRK Rokit 8 monitors with the internal microphone of my Panasonic Mini DV video camera. Thanks for watching!"

Moog Multimoog Vintage Analog Synthesizer

YouTube Uploaded by fishjaco on Dec 18, 2011

"This is a video of a multimoog to demonstrate its functionality and promote it's sale. Shot with a Canon g12 audio capture through an E-MU 1616m into Sonar and edited in Adobe Premiere. Audio from the moog is dry and untouched. The camera mic feed is room ambience only; no synth in the mic. This is not intended to demonstrate my non-existant chops, and it does not. I know my voice is hard to hear, sorry. It's not intentional, but you're really not missing anything. Thanks for watching!"

"The filter modification, found here, is installed. It increases the bass response when sweeping the filter."

ROLAND SH-1 with Clear Plastic Protective Screen

via this auction

Curious how many synths had protective panel sheets.

"The amazing SH-1, a far superior sound to the 101 in my opinion.

This synth is cosmetically very clean, just a little grubby, with only very minor wear. The protective seals are still on all but one of the knobs and there is the original clear plastic protective cover over the synth.

This synth has a pitch problem, it's very unstable sometime shifting up or down an out of tune octave it seems. Sometimes just a slight pitch wobble sometimes a major one so needs repairing."
