"So... this is THE LEGEND - new version (rev4) of the first polyphonic synth with preset memories - The PROPHET-5!

What to say... so many old and new records were recorded with this synth, it's created by synth pioneer Dave Smith (who created MIDI too) and it sounds spectacular. I just try to imagine how people reacted to this synth back in 1977.! It's amazing.

I was so interested in how VINTAGE knob react when you change Prophet-5's revision modes (from rev1 to rev4) - it's really interesting and sounds different. In rev1 mode P5 sounds more archaic with, fex., slightly different decay on keys - this remind me that my Jupiter 4 (1978) reacted at the same way.

All sounds are recorded directly from Prophet-5 to Tascam DR-05x recorder in 24bit/96kHz resolution, without any FX processing.

"This is a desktop version of Sequential's synthesizer, the Trigon-6. It's a 6-voice analog synth with 3 discrete oscillators, great filters, envelopes, LFO, an arpeggiator, a step sequencer and a large amount of preset storage. It also includes an analog distortion and two 24-bit digital effects for rich, big sounds.

Recorded on Tascam DR-05X (24 bit/ 96 Khz)
