Moog One Firmware Update 1.2.0: Best Feature - Active Voice Indicator
Published on Jan 3, 2020 Getsemani Music
"Moog One firmware update 1.2.0 which was released just before Christmas (2019) included 14 fixes and 5 new features, as well as 45 new patches included with the download. Today we look at what might be the best new feature, the "Active Voice Indicator" which may finally help you answer the question "Is eight voices enough?" We found it could also serve as a diagnostic tool to help identify which oscillator might be misbehaving if you are having an issue. Check it out. It may be the most revealing 4 1/2 minutes of your day."

Moog Matriarch: Exploring Stereo Delay and Modulation
Published on Sep 26, 2019 Getsemani Music
"Put on your finest headphones as we explore the new Moog Matriarch. Today we'll focus on experimenting with the built in stereo delay and modulation modules. This demo uses no external effects and no special patching, just using the Matriarch's default internal wiring. We ended up with some interesting spacy effects, and sounds ranging from the delicate to shredding with some reminiscence of Emerson's modular."

Moog Matriarch: First Sonic Impressions (The First 8 Minutes out of the box!)
Published on Sep 17, 2019 Getsemani Music
"We just took delivery of our new Moog Matriarch. We set it right up and spent a couple of minutes turning knobs until we had a satisfactory sound to start experimenting. What this video shows is the first 8 minutes of trying it out. No manual, no studying, no patch work (yet)... just playing around. Conclusion: We love it, and now to start digging deeper!"

Jam of the Day - July 21, 2019 with Moog One, Moog Voyager and Yamaha PSR-S975
Published on Jul 21, 2019 Getsemani Music
"Today's improvised offering is a laid back pad filled ambient tune with an interesting mixture of textures. For the Moog One, I blended together two of GeoSynth's new patches by Jamie Morden. Synth 1 and 2 are loaded with "The Model GEO" with the lead on synth 1 and bass sequence on synth 2. Synth 3 is loaded with '5th Dimension GEO' which makes up the string section. The Voyager holds another evolving lead patch, an original we call 'Evolver.' The percussion section is done on a Yamaha PSR-S975 using the "Bolero Lento" style slowed to 70 bpm."
