Razer Blade for u-he Diva by Solidtrax & hkmr.sdg - Chrono Rift Demo

video upload by Solidtrax

"For this cinematic sound set I've teamed up with ‪@minkokalsbeek‬ from @hikimorimusic (hkmr.sdg). This cinematic sound set for ‪@uheplugins‬ Diva contains 127 expertly crafted presets, showcasing the remarkable versatility and analog warmth that #Diva is celebrated for.

These patches are crafted with inspiration from some of our favorite science fiction films and scores. This collection of patches offers a compelling foundation for creating atmospheric science fiction and thriller cues. Each patch has been meticulously designed to deliver unique and inspiring sounds, perfect for production music, game soundtracks and film scoring. Whether you are building immersive layers or seeking fresh ideas, Razer Blade provides the tools to elevate your compositions.

Diva excels at delivering rich, authentic tones by emulating legendary synth components inspired by icons like the Moog Minimoog, Roland Alpha Juno, Jupiter-8(000), Korg MS-20, and Oberheim synths. With two LFOs, an arpeggiator and a suite of sound-shaping tools, it’s a playground for sound designers.

Each preset is equipped with velocity, mod wheel, pitch bend and aftertouch controls. We've also configured Control A and B - mapped to CC #2 (breath) and CC #11 (expression) - to provide even more expressive movement.

While these sounds are optimized for ambient and cinematic genres, they are equally suited for synthwave and various electronic dance music styles. Designed with Diva v1.4.8, these presets are ready to bring your music to life.

Explore this diverse palette of sounds and unlock new creative possibilities with Razer Blade for #uhe Diva.

Introduction to U-he Colour Copy

Published on Sep 7, 2018 uheplugins

"In this video, Ronan Macdonald introduces Colour Copy and gives an overview of its features and functionality.

Colour Copy is a virtual analog effect inspired by classic bucket-brigade delays (BBD), but extended with modern features. We called our new baby "Colour Copy" because it can deliver the kind of colouration people still love in classic BBD units, but with a wider variety of colours. Colour Copy started life as the little delay unit called "Lyrebird" we built into Repro-1, but the sound was too good not to be developed further and become an fx plug-in.

Colour Copy info and demo: http://u-he.com/colourcopy"

bbd-style analog delay, for the smoothest possible pitch effects

unique colour morphing, with saturation for non-linear effects such as distortion / resonance

1ms to 1s or host-synched time base, scaled via rate control from 25% to 400%

dynamic ducking via envelope follower, with an option that preserves the initial delay

lfo (with dynamic frequency and depth) can modulate rate, tap position or amplitude.

midi note tracking and Freeze button (infinite loop) for wildest experimental effects

powerful preset browser with tag and/or text search functions

independent input and feedback routing options allow all possible stereo or mono combinations

100 factory presets, nks-compatible

ui instantly resizable from 70% to 200%

custom remote control via midi cc, 14-bit resolution option

Introduction to Repro-5

Published on Aug 13, 2018 uheplugins

"Dan Worrall introduces Repro-5…

Repro-5 is the big brother of our monophonic Repro-1, and they are bundled together as 'Repro'. With a similar design and sonic DNA, they have a lot in common. While retaining the authentic analogue sound, Repro-5 introduces several new flavours, most notably 8-voice polyphony: Perfect for lush chords or massive unison leads!"

"Dan Worrall introduces Repro-1 and gives an overview of the features and functionality.

Repro-1 is a reverent emulation of a famous vintage synth. All the quirks and personality of the original captured using component-level modelling for a truly authentic analogue sound. A classic design with fierce capabilities: two-pattern step sequencer, self-oscillating filter, arpeggiator, a unique modulation section, five stomp-box effects… and proudly mono like the original."

"Superbooth16 in a few words: stunning 1950s architecture of the Funkhaus Berlin, walls of modular synthesizers, late afternoon riverside absinthe drinks, old friends, new technology and captivating musical performances. At times the whole event felt like equal parts festival and trade show. A wonderful experience.

Now... when is the next one?

But better than words is a video capturing some of our fun."
