Folktek Mescaline + Leploop: Psycho-Conga Line
video upload by Infin-D
"Here's something you don't see everyday. The Folktek Mescaline and the Leploop are both analogue "groove boxes", but of vastly different character. I took it as a challenge to get the dreamy, spacey Mescaline paired with the techno-industrial Leploop, and came up with this crazy Cuban-style rhythm.
The Mescaline sends a clock signal to the Korg SQ-64, which Midi-clocks the Mescaline. The Bastl Wave Bard adds some sampled percussion to the mix, delay provided by the Korg NTS-1. Due to the vast distance, I had to use a bread board to bridge a couple of triggers from the Mescaline to the Wave Bard.
At 7:16 I inadvertently tweaked the Leploop's percussion voice into self-oscillation, sorry if it snaps anyone out their trance.
Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Folktek Mescaline + Passive Operator: Melodic Malfunction
video upload by Infin-D
"The Folktek Mescaline delivers a nice rhythm and melodic drone, and the Error Instruments Passive Operator just gltiches it all up. The Passive Operator is running through the Meng Qi Wingie 2 Stereo Resonator. Vocal samples from the Bastl Wave Bard maybe give the whole thing some...context?
Delay provided by the Korg NTS-1.
Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Pro-One + SH-101 + Leploop + Edge = Jamuary Jamalog (take 2)
video upload by Infin-D
"Vintage synths, meet contemporary synths. The Leploop clocks everything, with clock division by the Mofenseef Pocket Clock-it. There's a resonant arpeggio on the SH-101, but the real star here is the Sequential Circuits Pro-One and its gnarly filter (also getting pitch CV from the Leploop). It's gets pretty noisy, but I like it noisy. Delay is added by the Korg NTS-1 MK II, mixed on the Yamaha KM802.
Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.
