Bastl Kalimba! A fun new instrument at #Superbooth 2026

video upload by CatSynth TV

"A brief demo of the new Bastl Instruments Kalimba. This prototype is very playable as both a traditional kalmbia and a synthesizer with scales, microtuning, and an arpeggiator.

Our pal Zip gets into the action a bit."

Déjà vu: Flexible Fader Control for Audio & CV│Bastl Instruments

video upload by Bastl Instruments

"Bastl Déjà vu is a Swiss knife for your Eurorack System that adds fader control to your modular system for many scenarios. It stands out as a simple yet powerful utility module that can do crossfading, mixing, signal boosting, voltage processing, attenuation or attenuversion. All that in 4HP and with the possibility to chain several of them to mix even more signals."

Powerful Voltage Utility module for voltage processing, attenuation, signal boosting, crossfading, and mixing

Déjà vu adds fader control to your modular system and it stands out as a simple yet powerful utility module that can do voltage processing, mixing, attenuation, attenuversion, signal boosting, crossfading and mixing.

All that in 4HP and with the possibility of chaining several units to mix even more signals.

SWISS KNIFE FOR YOUR RACK

Déjà vu has two almost identical channels A and B. Each channel has the FADER input and the ADD input and an output with light indication. The FADER MODE switch alters the behavior of the module, either attentuating or attenuverting the FADER input where the ADD input will be added to the processed FADER input. The last option is crossfading between the FADER Input and the ADD input which is great for creating performance oriented macro controls.

Modular Sound Design: Intellijel Multigrain x Make Noise MultiMod

video upload by Liminal Pulses

"Using the ‪@intellijel‬ Multigrain x ‪@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC‬ MultiMod as the main ways to modulate and sound design, but not with our help from the ‪@4msCompany‬ Ensemble Oscillator, the ‪@bastlinstruments‬ Pizza, both sequenced by the ‪@GlasgowSynthGuild‬ Octones, with stereo delay from the ‪@busycircuits‬ MFX.

What do you think of these sounds? Leave me a comment!"

Additional Signal Sounds listings

"A pre-owned Bastl Instruments Microgranny Monolith in very good condition. It comes with original packaging and accessories.

Manufacturer's description
Granny’s back with a brand new lid: our classic desktop granular sampler gets a facelift, bringing her into the modern age with enough usability upgrades to last another lifetime, rehomed in sleek black PCB-material to help it look the part amongst the latest in the Bastl range.

The Microgranny 2.0 that you know and love is still there under the facelift: lo-fi sound full of character packed into a hands-on monophonic desktop sampler that is a joy to experiment with. Plug in your microSD card loaded with 8-bit samples, or record them live through the in-built mic or line input, and jump into play with 6 samples right under your fingers, or instantly recall up to 60 saved presets.

Playability is paramount
The two-tier menu lets you dart between editing grain size or warping the playback speed, and the new-look tactile knobs grant better control than the previous model. The hazy plastic case is gone, and the PCB case’s sharper text makes the modes under the new and improved buttons more enticing – delve into Randomized mode, Legato playback, or the Instant Loop function to extend the virtually limitless possibilities of the surface controls yet further.

MIDI Control? Yep: play specific grains with keys, control the CC values remotely, even clock-sync loops and grains. Take your Granny for a walk in the park with the battery power, or run it through a wired 9V supply."

SOMA ROAT + Bastl Kastles: The Chaos Button Beckons

video upload by Infin-D

"I picked up a used SOMA Rumble of Ancient Times several weeks ago and have been messing around with this crazy little synth. The wonderfully noisy jams by @ImmerhinHalbzwo inspired me to finally do one of my own. The ROAT can sound lovely and melodic but it has this button labelled simply 'CHAOS'. Pushing it scrambles all of the parameters of the four synth voices in unpredictable ways, including how they react with each other. That's what's happening here, locking one or more of the oscillators into "drone" mode will sometimes cause a noisy, harsh modulation that is absolutely primal, hence the name of the thing.

Rhythm comes from the Bastl Kastle Drum, going through the Kastle 2 FX Wizard on the "Shifter" setting. They clock the looper on the ROAT and get some delay from the Korg NTS-1 MKii.

Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Bastl Pizza + AFL Pixie x Make Noise Multimod

video upload by Liminal Pulses

"Starting a new series where, the focus isn't on one particular modules details on sound and how it works, but a focus on pure sound, melody and patch experimentation. A song, a track, something to play in the background while you work. A longer version of my instagram sketches.

Here I have the ‪@GlasgowSynthGuild‬ Octone and the ‪@EricaSynths‬ Black Sequencer running the ‪@afterlateraudio‬ Pixie and ‪@bastlinstruments‬ Pizza, through the ‪@nano.modules‬ St Font filter and Serra ADSR, with the above modulated by the ‪@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC‬ Multimod, with EVERYTHING effected by the ‪@busycircuits‬ MFX and ‪@tiptop-audio‬ Z5000.

Drums by ‪@teenageengineering‬ KO EP133"

Folktek Mescaline + Leploop: Psycho-Conga Line

video upload by Infin-D

"Here's something you don't see everyday. The Folktek Mescaline and the Leploop are both analogue "groove boxes", but of vastly different character. I took it as a challenge to get the dreamy, spacey Mescaline paired with the techno-industrial Leploop, and came up with this crazy Cuban-style rhythm.
The Mescaline sends a clock signal to the Korg SQ-64, which Midi-clocks the Mescaline. The Bastl Wave Bard adds some sampled percussion to the mix, delay provided by the Korg NTS-1. Due to the vast distance, I had to use a bread board to bridge a couple of triggers from the Mescaline to the Wave Bard.

At 7:16 I inadvertently tweaked the Leploop's percussion voice into self-oscillation, sorry if it snaps anyone out their trance.

Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Folktek Mescaline + Passive Operator: Melodic Malfunction

video upload by Infin-D

"The Folktek Mescaline delivers a nice rhythm and melodic drone, and the Error Instruments Passive Operator just gltiches it all up. The Passive Operator is running through the Meng Qi Wingie 2 Stereo Resonator. Vocal samples from the Bastl Wave Bard maybe give the whole thing some...context?

Delay provided by the Korg NTS-1.

Recorded live on the Zoom L6, audio normalized in Audacity.

Not your usual filter module - Ceremony by Nekyia Circuits

video upload by Stazma and Nekyia Circuits

"More infos and affiliate links in the description // Support on Patreon to get samples from this session: / stazma

Today we are going to check out Ceremony by Nekyia Circuits. It's filter inspired by Rob Hordijk's Twin Peak resonator module.

It's a very resonant Low Pass / Dual Bandpass with many internal feedback routings that easily create vocal like sounds and wet and weird analogue bubblebaths.

More infos here: https://www.nekyiacircuits.com/

Have fun!!!"
