blurt

Synths, goannas and choppers. What else could you ask for?
Semi disturbing voices at the end? Yeah, that's it.
ARP 2600 Patch
Patch 1 - I think there's a little birdy trapped in there.

Buchla 100 PCBs
Caption: "My friend Reed has a giant Buchla system. He told me he was interested in a 242 programmable Pulser. That thing uses an EMS style patch matrix to program 3 channels of patterns up to 12 steps long. I suggested that it may be beter for me to design a double wide module that has toggle switches for 6 channels of 16 steps. It is almost finished now. The panel is from Front Panel Express. Reed said he was only interested if I called it the 243 Programmable Pulser and printed "Verbos & Associates Brooklyn, New York" a the bottom, like a Buchla module. I'm making one for him and one for my Buchla."

Korg Legacy MS-20

I'm beginning to want one of these. I wonder how playable the hardware is and if it's the sort of thing that's fun the first ten times and then you put it away for your main controller. Would have been cool if it were a self contained unit like the Creamware ASB boxes.
Casio VL-Tone Emulator
"VL1 is a freeware emulator of the world famous classic calculator annex mini-synthesizer from the eigthies made by Casio.
VL1 is not just a sample player, it is a real emulator that emulates the original hardware. All sounds are generated by software equivalents of the original circuits and the calculator actually works. This also means that ADSR sound programming is fully functional!" manual

New MOOG Moogerfooger Oscillator Coming?
Tom of Music Thing put up this post speculating a new Moogerfooger might be coming. The one Moogefooger missing from a basic MOOG modular set up would be... an Oscillator. Well, ADSR envelopes as well, but maybe they can find a way to squeeze that in.
On AH, Andrew said it perfectly: "With all of this talk of what Moog should or shouldn't do, here's my guess of what their next release will probably be: a moogerfooger oscillator with built-in pitch-to-cv converter, done Electro-Harmonix Microsynth-style but with a more fully-featured oscillator (different waveforms, adjustable pulse width and a CV in for PWM). It's basically the one current gap in their lineup, and it could be easily pitched to all current product owners - 'add another oscillator to your LP or Voyager,' 'turn your existing moogerfoogers into a full-fledged mini-modular synth,' add a 'synthesizer' sound to your guitar lineup'' - even 'add a real MOOG oscillator to your modular synth' for modern modular owners."
Sounds mighty nice to me. My dream? Little MOOG SEMs! You could use them stand alone like a Moogerfooger or add them for polyphony to your Voyager or Little Phatty.
