Theremin R.C.A. Loudspeaker 106 Electrodynamic

images via this auction

"The R.C.A. Loudspeaker 106 Electrodynamic is the correct unit to partner the R.C.A. Theremin. The original R.C.A. drive unit has been replaced by another brand but the cabinet is in good condition with some wear owing to an age of 80 years! Dimensions of the cabinet are 23 1/2 " long X 33 1/2" high X 11 " wide. As can be seen the tapestry both front and sides is in good condition. The back cloth is intact. This is rare chance to purchase a beautiful example of an R.C.A. 106 speaker cabinet especially to accompany a Theremin making a complete set."

"Snore" patch

"Snore" patch from Peter Speer on Vimeo.

"I was trying to make a breathe-in/breathe-out snoring sound with the Mini Case...

Used:
Moog Rogue (audio only)
Doepfer A-119, A-140 and A-132-3
Plan B ELF LFO
Frostwave Resonator and Blue Ringer
DIY multiple

Patch:
Audio from the A-119 is being sent into each Frostwave pedal individually. Both pedals return to their own half of the A-132-3. The VCA associated with the Resonator is being modulated by the Output of the A-140. The Blue Ringer's VCA is being modulated by the Inverse Output of the A-140.

The A-140 is receiving a gate signal from the ELF LFO's Square Wave output.

The ELF LFO's Triangle Wave output is being split to control both the LP Resonance and HP Frequency on the Resonator.

The A-140's second output is controlling the HP Resonance on the Resonator.

The Blue Ringer is not receiving any CV, just audio.

MFOS Ten Step Analog Sequencer

"Features
* Two to Ten Step Sequences
* Reset At Count and Stop At Count options
* External Start (great for arpeggios)
* Start/Stop, Step and Reset functions.
* Gate selectable on/off for each step
* Great for a first sequencer project.
* Three CV Outputs.
* Portamento on CV3 output.
* High/Low Output Range.

Introduction
The MFOS Ten Step Analog Sequencer is a great first sequencer project. The main idea of a sequencer is to provide an automatic means of sequentially stepping through a series of adjustable voltages to drive a VCO (or any other voltage controlled device). Additionally, gate and trigger signals are generated at the moment the output of the circuit steps to a new voltage. Typically you use a sequencer to control the frequency of an oscillator (or several oscillators) to produce repeating tonal patterns, or arpeggios, which are further enhanced by filtering, modulation, addition of keyboard voltage etc. This sequencer design is simpler than the MFOS 16 step sequencer and has fewer steps and features. Nevertheless, it is still a challenging synth-diy project and unless you have experience building projects from scratch I can't recommend it unless you have a helpful and experienced electronics buddy. A sequencer is a mainstay of any modular analog synthesier. While not necessary, MFOS offers a very cool voltage quantizer that can be connected to the output of this sequencer to ease set-up of chromatic sequences."
