Circuit bent Casio PT-100 9 modifications
YouTube via frostedminipete
"Here's my bent PT-100 from ... a few months ago. I never got around to making a video for it until now.
It's the first thing I tried to paint...needless to say, I should've stopped at the light blue keys, but it doesn't look too bad.
Anyway... the mods are
- Starve pot [simulates dying batteries...low pitch, etc]
- Lead distortion pot
- Snare/hihat/bass distortion pot
- Bass drum distortion pot
- Chord distortion pot
- Warbly/wahwah switch
- Pulse 1 (fast) switch
- Pulse 2 (warbly/slow) switch
- added 1/4" output w/ speaker on and off switch"
My first circuit bent Speak and Spell with 12 modifications
"There's no way I could justify paying the $40 these go for on ebay so I never intended on bending one, then I found one at the flea market for $1!
This speak and spell features:
- Pitch down knob
- Pitch up knob
- 5 Glitch switches (some cause short glitches with button presses, some longer with speech intertwined, some cause endless bouts of glitching with no prompting)
- 2 short loop buttons with on/off switches (distort/hold out current sound)
- Musical sound loop button with on/off switch (loops always at the same tempo/length. When bottom glitch switch engaged causes a new loop with every key press. Really fun feature)
- Electronic Satan switch (makes the thing speak like... an electronic Satan... SAY IT.)
- Added 1/4" output jack w/
- Green LED that flashes with audio activity
- speaker on/off siwtch
- reset switch"
