FabFilter Twin 2 Demo, Part One: Assuming The Controls

YouTube via gearwire
"Subtractive software synth just got a whole lot of functionality added onto it with FabFilter Twin 2. To demystify the vexing mathematical tomfoolery, we shrank Bill Holland down to the size and shape of a cursor and injected him into your computer!

See more on Gearwire.com."

EMS Synthi A & DK-1 Keyb

via this auction "This is something special! A good looking Synthi A from the Electronic Music Studios in London. Both the Synthi and the keyboard are recently serviced and there are a some very nice modifications on this one! The following modifications have been performed by a pro synth tech: Osc-sync 2&3, filter keyb follow, filter slew/unslew, filter 18/24 dB. Also new internal trimmers and elco's have been installed. Oscillators 1 & 2 have the temperature compensation mod to make them more stable. These are the same mods as performed at EMS London. The 3 black (Serge) knobs: 2 are the sync-switches for the OSCs, the one near the filter controls the keyboard follow of the filter. Left of and above the Cutoff knob are the toggles for filter slew/unslew en 18/24dB"

MIDI Cubes

via GoodVillain on the forum.
"This is MIDI Cubes. Its a 1-32 step command based sequencer. My goal of the project is to have a no bulk simple solution while having an in-depth system to handle MIDI messages.

The interface had to be built before functionality on this project as it plays a big part on how it works. You click on one of the 32 squares and a data list will show below. You can add two kinds of commands. The first kind are software commands. These set software functions such as the tempo, max steps, and anything else that modifies how the software runs. The second kinds of commands are MIDI control functions. These are raw MIDI commands such as turning on notes and changing a perimeter like cutoff. The way the messages are sent can also allow the use of multiple channels so one sequencer could control several keyboards/racks at once." You can find more info here.

Tenori On sequencing Nord Modular G2 v01

YouTube via polishbroadcast
"Tenori-On sequencing a Nord Modular G2 with a sooper sloppy drum improv. The Nord Modular G2 is making all of the sounds.

The drums on the G2 are from Roland Kuit's awesome patch which i got on electro-music.com.

Excuse the quality. This was recorded with my Macbook Pro's iSight and audio input so the video quality is bad and there is a buzz in the audio. Beyond the buzz, the audio sounds pretty ok."

Tenori On sequencing Access Virus TI Snow v02

"Using some delays and arpeggios in the Virus really helps to get away from the strict grid. Unfortunately, muting sounds isn't all that easy with the layer volume on the Tenori On if you have tails of notes that are ringing out at the end of a measure. All sounds are from the Virus Snow."
