Gakken SX-150 Synth - Controlled with MIDI and Ableton Live through Arduino

YouTube via kbroom. Note this is the Gakken SX-150 in this post.
"Here is my hacked Gakken SX-150 synth. I added MIDI input and a 1/4' input plug, to make it more universally compatible with mixers and soundcards.

"A musical touch-sensitive light-up hoodie, created using the LilyPad Arduino, which is designed by Leah Buechley. Created at the MIT Media Lab for the High-Low Tech research group.

This hoodie is a prototype project for the Lilypad Arduino, meant to inspire other applications. The hoodie was designed with purely artistic intentions and with absolutely no practical applications in mind.

SuperCollider + TouchOSC = Step Sequencer (with BASS)

YouTube via rukano
"Almost the same as my other step sequencer demo, this time I used the multifaders on the bottom to add a bass line;
The bass is not sampled, it's just a pulse waveform with filter;
Thanks for the comments and rating;

end;"

Android Musical Pro Multitouch Drum Demo

YouTube via csvy
"This is a quick demonstration of the new multitouch drum kit in Musical Pro, an application available in the Android Market. The multitouch requires a rooted G1 running JF1.4 or greater.

This is about the limit of the G1's support for multitouch: it can only detect 2 fingers, and if the buttons were any closer, the screen would be incapable of distinguishing the fingers from each other.

Sorry about the lack of quality (and rhythm). I had to film it using my laptop's built-in webcam, which is quite a bit more difficult than one would expect.

See souvey.com for details..."

elka synthex noodlings

via Pea Hicks http://www.myspace.com/peahix
"scored an elka synthex on craigslist this week and have been noodling around with the neato onboard sequencer, if y'all wanna have a listen. this is all real-time sequencer playback. drums on the last two tracks are courtesy my e-mu drumulator, which is driving the elka sequencer. a bit of an odd procedure to get these two to sync up- the results can be a bit unpredictable."

You might remember this one from this post.
"The Fun Tuner v1.0 by Mr.Ugly. 2009.
This one was named after MR.FUN, who put a soldering iron in my hand. Each Fun Tuner I make is going to be an evolution of the last. 2 Oscillators+NAND gates=grimy/sweepy/beepy tones."
