"a few experiments and extensions to the m4l api. the project files are available at 2rem.net/projects/m4l/m4l.lab.zip
there are some undocumented patches that deal with filtering and scaling notes and ctl and turning one into the other (lab.wrap*).
to get everything to work you may need to install osc for max from cnmat.berkeley.edu/downloads and the fiddle~ object for pitch tracking: crca.ucsd.edu/%7etapel/software.html"
YouTube via organfairy "The title of this song is a little play on words: In Germany there is a well known up-tempo pop song called "Du schwarze Barbara" or "black Barbara" but I am not sure if it is her hair colour the title is referring to. But this melody is called "Schlafende Barbara" or "Sleeping Barbara" and it is quite relaxing :-)
I use the Elka X-1000 for most of the voices and the smaller Elka EP-8 for the Oxygen-like strings."
