Ekdahl Moisterizer @Musikgear.com

"Trying Ekdah moisterizer on 'lavieenjaune' guitar. No other effect being use, only a crappy Roland Cube amplifier without effects. The moisterizer just rocks at creating mysterious places and ambiance."
Mattson Mini Modular Interview

You can find the full interview on electronicmusic.com here.
"electronicmusic.com: When did you decide to create your company?
George Mattson: In 2006, I was laid off from the fourth job that just folded out from under me. My job prospects and searches usually resulted in statements of 'you're over qualified for this job.'
I had been lugging around all of my NOS components for the Syntars for the last 25 years and decided to see if I could sell a few to generate some immediate revenue. I sold one to Stephen Jones of Synthwood and one to Jean Michel Jarre. I was trying to sell one to Matrix of http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/ and he said that he had plenty of keyboard synths and was really leaning toward purchasing a modular. He asked me which brand I would recommend? I told him "None of them, I'd rather build my own." Matrix responded with three words that changed my future focus. "Why don't you?"
I really didn't have a response. So, I decided to build a system but, go against the tide and design an entirely new format to suck the air out of these systems and design a full blown modular system that was portable."
I picked up production prototype #1. Here's a couple of shots of it with my new euro-rack modular. George Mattson also built Ichabod for Billy Corgan.
George Mattson of Mattson Mini Modular will be presenting at the PNW AES synth meet this coming Wednesday. Doors are open to the public and entry is free.
Division 6 Interview

"electronicmusic.com: When did you decide to create Division 6?
Scott Rise: Division 6 has been around since 1998. What's a "Division 6" you ask? At the time I started the business I had all kinds of things I wanted to do (IT work, web design, electronics manufacturing, show-control systems, etc.) So, I picked a technical-sounding but non-descript name that didn't lock me into one particular product or service. Imagine buying your synth products from "Scott's Roofing and Cheese Supply" or something."
Note Scott Rise of Division 6 will be presenting at the PNW AES synth meet this coming Wednesday. Doors are open to the public and entry is free.
flight of harmony Interview

"electronicmusic.com: When did you decide to create flight of harmony?
~flight: As a company, f(h) began at some point in 2002-2003. It was initially the name of my experimental electronic music project."
Note, flight will be at the upcoming PNW AES synth meet this coming Wednesday. Doors are open to the public and entry is free.
Saving the Yamaha CS-80 (2) The Power Supply
YouTube via gavincurtis. Part 1 appears to be missing from the series.
"Beginning of a series of videos showing the ground up restoration of my ailing CS-80.
Working CS-80's are playing music on borrowed time as their 70's era MOS, armaddas of deteriorating digital IC's and leaky electrolytic capacitors take their toll on these grand machines.
This video series will show how to keep CS-80's playing well into the next generation of musicians as each circuit board is restored and recalibrated. It will be a long journey starting here with the power supply.
CS-80 restoration parts used in these videos will be available as kits soon. Please come back for details and updates as this project continues."

VINTAGE 1982 MOOG SYNTH RARE KEYBOARD CATALOG
"4 page foldout shows all models with detailed descriptions."
Not the best shots, but some interesting bits in this. Anyone know what the synth is that looks like The Source minus keys? Note the modular systems in the bottom shot. When did Moog stop making them?
Update via jabrockson in the comments "Moog DSC (Digital Sequential Controller). I don't know how many (if any) hit the market."
