"The original walnut cabinet was restored by ANALOGICS (as well as the servicing) and looks beautiful. It also has new Switchcraft washers/nuts and a couple of new badges. A few screws in the back look oxidized which I noticed after I had taken the photos so they will either be cleaned or replaced."

Roland Paraphonic 505

Update: some info via Philip on the AH list: "Beautiful sounding machine...one of the best stereo ensemble sections built into any Roland...with three modes.. Stereo flange, stereo chorus ensemble(solina like) and a Dimension D like subtle chorus mode. Strings sounds are way better than the VP-330 and are more flexible..Synth section is perfunctory and divide down but still tonally very nice..oh and the Bass section sounds as big and full as a Taurus..."

Update: you can see a video of the Roland Paraphonic 505 here.

"As some of you may know, this unit has 3 digital oscillators, an analog vcf, an analog vca, it can store up to 100 sounds and even has a sequencer. It does not have midi, but I'm sure this can be added if you need. If you want to know it's specs please search the web." Or check out the Gleeman label here.
