"About 12 years ago, someone told me that additive synthesis will never be practical. My initial reaction was, “we’ll see about that.” This person’s background was that of modular subtractive synths, and was quite knowledgeable. From that perspective, I could see their point. Who want’s to take the time to create complex envelopes for each individual harmonic? My mind has often wondered back to this incident."

It is in excellent condition, without any scratches or dents."

The talking filter - modular jam
YouTube via darenager
"I was working on a track and decided to route the whole thing through my Bugbrand filter for a bit of mangling, using the notch output with resonance set to full, I noticed when the frequency was around the halfway mark an interesting effect similar to a vocal type sound emerged.
Anyway, this is not the finished track just a demonstration of the interesting filter effect. Hope you enjoy it anyway and sorry about the sound quality, the encoding seems to have messed it up a bit. The filter effect is quite subtle but hopefully you can hear it ok."
