DIY Buchla White Etching

flickr by parasitk

Top: "Etched in Ferric for about an hour, wet sanded, and patinated with liver of sulphur and a touch of ammonia."

Bottom: "Got a new printer and had good luck with the PNP Blue paper. After this photo I touched up the toner transfer with some Stop-Out Varnish."

A bit steampunk.

The most well-known and sought-after Cordovox model would have to be the CDX-0622. Note the ultra-cool plastic (fiberglass?) cases - George Jetson would be proud. These are sometimes referred to as "White Elephants"

The rock Group "Beck" has been seen with what appears to be a White Elephant of some sort.

Every sound in the demo below is from Kicker. This track was recorded using 8 separate overdubs and some live tweaking.
