Tutorial: Vangelis Blade Runner Sound... on microKORG!

"Everybody loves the signature Vangelis sound. Very few have access to a Yamaha CS 80. Hence this tutorial!

UPDATE: Upon further tinkering I found out that you need some more resonance and possibly unison mode for Blade Runner (opening, the Blues is a whole different thing...).

"Kawai MM-16 midi mixer/controller, midi merger, sysex controller. this thing does a bit of everything and is super handy in a midi studio. you can split midi channels to separate outputs, control sysex data and CC data as well as use it to edit your hardware midi instruments. it has 2 sets of midi i/o (2x midi in/out/thru). i was using it to edit my kawai K4r and XD-5 but don't need it any longer. it has preset templates for some kawai synths and you can make your own for other hardware synths from any manufacturer. also will work to control software DAW's and plug ins."

"A demonstration of the 50 sound programs of the KORG M1's expansion card MPC-02 with the PCM waveform card MSC-02.

I'm going to make further demo videos of all the other official KORG M1 program and PCM memory cards (MPC/MSC-01 to 016 and MPC-11 to 13 and the M1 EX factory presets).

I'm still searching for the PCM cards MSC-010 "Ethnic 1" and MSC-015 "Drums 2". If you don't need your cards anymore, please make me an offer! :o)

"About a year back we sent you pics of our 303 cake at manSEDANse [this post].

This year we had a Roland 808 and 303. An attempt was made to bake an audiowave inside, but it didn't quite come out as we planned.

Otherwise I think the cakes turned out pretty great, must say they were extremely sweet... It took about six hours to get them done, but was well worth it and great fun!
The cakes were made by Hanna, Wilhelmiina and Aino.
