1983 Oberheim OB-8 Two Page Ad

via Retro Synth Ads where you'll find the full write-up.
"This was the introductory ad for Oberheim's new flag-ship synthesizer. The two-pager only ran once or twice at the beginning of 1983 before being replaced by a half-page version (really? half-page? Yup!)."
LinPlug MorphoX

Dont get stuck in complexity, with you just need the modulation wheel and the keys to experience yet unheard expression and transformation in sound. Morphing made simple, in realtime, drastic changes in sound, right at your morph wheel.
Simplicity is the wheel
When you play and hear you wont believe its just a quite simple subtractive synth with chorus, delay and an arpeggiator. Its dead easy to create your own morphing sounds.
To get you started we hired some of the finest sounds designers to create 400 factory presets.

- powerfull yet easy to operate subtractive sound engine with many extraordinary modulation options (its a LinPlug)
- Stereo Filter with simultaneous low pass, band pass and high pass and Filter FM
- Modulation Matrix (10 routings, 20+ sources, 40+ destinations)
- user programable 16 step Arpeggiator
- Microtonal support (TUN file import)"

First Generation Moog Liberation circa 1980
"Most sites claim the Liberation came into existence in 1981. Not so! They actually began production in 1979 and the first generations were released in 1980 and this is one of those very machines! This guy had suffered from the ever so dreaded 'rotting foam explosion' gumming up all the sliders and switches. So, all those sliders and switches have been replaced along with all new electrolytic capacitors and rebuilt power supply."
Moog Modular 950 keyboard controller
via this auction
"Vintage Moog 950 keyboard controller. Early version of 950 model controller. Has 'Hold/No Hold' switch instead of portamento (glide) switch. Also has wiring harness and connectors for external tuning of each note. Unit has been tested and works but since it is used, is being sold 'as is'. This is a controller only that produces a control voltage and an S-trigger for each note, it produces no sound on it's own."
