"Just playing around with various effects, synth and drum sounds on the EF-303. Apologies for quality of performance but it's more a demonstration. The music playing is Aphex Twin."

Doepfer Dark Energy Modular Synthesizer

via this auction

"Dark Energy is a monophonic stand-alone synthesizer with USB and Midi interface. The sound generation and all modulation sources are 100% analog, only the USB/Midi interface contains digital components. Dark Energy is built into a rugged black metal case with wooden side plates. High quality potentiometers with metal shafts are used and each potentiometer is fixed to the case (no wobbly shafts and knobs). The distance between the controls is a bit wider compared to A-100 modules and knobs with vintage look are used."

"This is my take on what iPad instruments need to do to be playable. If you see some of my users doing non-constructive criticisms of other instruments (specifically yours! :-) ), please don't take it too seriously. I don't do that myself, and it bothers me. Some of Mugician's evolution was guided by Jordan Rudess' Morphwiz, Roger Linn's Linnstrument, and the many things I learned working with Leon Gruenbaum's Samchillian (my Xstrument instrument is a derivative of it)"

28 Steep Decline (72dB Lopass)

YouTube via 7thDanSound | December 06, 2010 | 1 likes, 0 dislikes

"In this video I patch up all the filters I have in series to get the steepest slope low pass filter possible, 72dB! It gets pretty meaty already at 36dB but 72 sound like it could kill people! The filters are two synthesizers.com Q107 (gotta lov'em), an STG Soundlabs Post Lawsuit Lopass Filter and an STG Soundlabs Mankato.

6 minute audio jam available at:"

72dB Jam by 7thDanSound
"I patched together all the filters I have in my modular to one meaty big 72dB slope mother of a low pass filter! I bet you could kill people with the bass from this patch. This recording is a few minutes of playing around with the patch, changing the cutoff (of all filters at once) and modulating the cutoff with an LFO and an envelope. I also raise the resonance of the individual filters here and there.

I tried feeding back the output of the patch back into itself to get resonance through the whole chain but to no avail... Any one know what I did wrong?"
