1st bend, Casiotone MT-40, The White Nightmare
YouTube via KillKyleWeiss | August 17, 2008 |
"NEW! Updated video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrdCHr... [below]
A try at a new interest. This whole "circuit bending," hooplah. Okay, fine.
This Casiotone MT-40 keyboard had something spilled in it long ago by a roommate, who then gave it to me. It sounded awful. So it was begging to be tortured.
Now it tortures ears. (No vintage whores chastising me for ruining it. Shhh.) A combination of manual and auto modes, crosswired push-switches and toggles, and "The Nipple." Made from a steering-column lock bolt from a 1978 Toyota corolla, it is a touch-sensitive digalog pitch-bender of sorts. It also makes the poor White Nightmare hate life and complain when you use certain buttons in conjunction with it. Which, requires a restart once in a while.
I discover new ear-bleeding effects with just the six additions every day! Cosmetically its a sad-ass project. Audibly it is schizophrenic.
It will be used on stage, most likely as an analog noise generator, and fill-in box. Hope you like The White Nightmare, named after the butt-rocker era from whence it came."
The White Nightmare: Revisited.
KillKyleWeiss | October 21, 2009 |
"A lot of people asked me when I upgraded The White Nightmare, to post a video. Well, it happened. I did the extra filter bends with a blue knob, and a couple of main-keys glitch switches about six months ago. Procrastinate much? Not I! Same fun as the original White Nightmare, but now with new ear-splitting rage."

33 Boolean Logic
YouTube via 7thDanSound | December 27, 2010 |
"This video shows how to use regular modules to achieve boolean logic, that is AND/OR and stuff like that. I even get an XOR in the end but I get the explanation a bit confused. If you need more details email me niklas@7thdan.com"
ROLAND JSQ-60 DCB Sequencer

"This sequencer connects to a Juno 60 or Jupiter 8a (and modified early Jupiter 8s) via its hardwired DCB cable and allows you to record and overdub up to 2000 note sequences either in real time or in single step loading. It features two DIN Sync outs, allowing control of anything equipped with a DIN Sync socket (ie, TB-303, TR-808, TR-606, CR-8000 etc). It also has a tape interface for saving/loading compositions, which can be used with almost any recording/playback medium (eg computer DAW) for backing up recorded songs. It retains the last composition in internal memory, even when switched off. It is powered by a standard 9v boss type adaptor (not included)."

Rare RED Roland SH-101 with Mod Grip and Kenton Mods
"This one also has the addition of a very neat (looks like it was factory installed) Kenton 2-socket kit which allows direct control of both filter and mod."
