Roland Jupiter 8 Synthesizer with Encore MIDI

via this auction

"Roland Jupiter 8 vintage analog 8 voice polysynth, this is the 14 bit model, and it does have Encore 5.2 MIDI installed, I believe in,out, and through. These Roland Jupiters were the top of the line Roland analog synths back in the day, and they still are the King of analogs to many synth sluts, less than 2000 were ever manufactured supposedly."

REDSOUND DARKSTAR XP2

via this auction

"Here it is, made in Great Britain, no longer made, rare and sought after!

WAY MORE CONTROL than the visible knobs suggest...there are LAYERS.

2VCO's, Joystick, External INPUTS, Expandable with an easily installed
Vocoder Chip, and MUCH MORE."

Update via machinesdontcare in the comments: "It's worth noting that the Vocoda card for the XP2 version was never completed, and the one from the original Darkstar won't work in this later version."

VINTAGE FARFISA VIP-233 COMBO ORGAN with Strings

via this auction where you'll find tons of pics while up. Some captured below.

"Second only to Vox in popularity during the 1960s, Italian manufacturer Farfisa is probably the only other really well-known purveyor of Combo Organs. While Vox was the most often seen organ with popular bands (Animals, DC-5, Paul Revere, Monkees, etc, etc, etc), There were probably at least as many, if not more, Farfisas cranking out the same music in garages and dance halls. This particular example, serial number 6274/230, is one of Farfisa's drawbar VIP's, and is in very nice condition. These often sell for over $699, so take advantage of this No Reserve Auction and get this one for cheap!

Feature-wise, the VIP-233 is pretty similar to the other "early" drawbar VIPs, but its styling, with the all brushed aluminum surfaces, is noticeably different. Farfisa organs were based on transistor accordions. The Farfisa company was a merger, and they were highly known for their production of accordions in Italy. In 1962 they produced the first transistor accordion. A few years later, after the success of the Vox Continental, Farfisa realized that portable organs were in high demand, so they took their accordion technology and made it into a combo organ. Thus the Farfisa Combo Compact was introduced in 1964." Full description pulled from combo-organ.com

"Busy month with my daughter starting day care, getting the evil viruses home and knocking the family down. So, not much time for work, unfortunately! But with all the hype on the upcoming Tom Oberheim SO4V - Son of 4 voice - I thought I'd post a sound clip from a live tweaking on the Oberheim Eight voice in our studio. Enjoy :)"
