"Roland / Boss is known for great chorus effects and the chorus mode of the DC-30 is no exception.
Another special feature is the "Repeat Rate Control Jack," about the delay time can be controlled by external control voltage. Method is to use either a foot pedal or CV output of a synthesizer or MIDI → CV converter. The amount of shares of the delay signal can also have an analog lowpass filter (tone) to adjust.
Although the unit is operating in mono, there are two separately controlled inputs and outputs for separate original signal and processed signal - this can be distributed so the panorama.The heart of the DC-30 form two Panasonic MN3005 BBD chip with 4096 stages, which for example in the early versions of the Electro Harmonix Memory Man were used. In favorable BBD delays usually get 512 or 1024 Stage chips are used - the difference you can hear!
