It might be 10 years old, but it's still a mind-blowing little machine!
I've added a Precision Oscillator circuit to the machine which allows additional modulation in the form of a big Pitch Knob and a Light Sensor (see end of vid).
Glitch is provided by a pair of RAM-SCRAMBLING Rotary Switches, which transfor Delays and 'Verbs into rich Choppy / Tonal Ring Mods and Ropbot Sounds.

"This video shows how the Expert Sleepers ES-4 SPDIF/CV module can also be used to send MIDI, via a simple cable adaptor and using features of Expert Sleepers' Silent Way software.
Because the MIDI is being sent via an audio interface, it is sample-accurate with the audio and free from the timing jitter normally associated with USB MIDI interfaces.

Not a synth but thought it was interesting from a natural oscilloscope sort of perspective.
"I just happened upon this trick when testing what it was like filming from inside my guitar. *Note this effect is due to the rolling shutter, which is non-representative of how strings actually vibrate.
Tips:
• You must have the strings brightly backlit to get the camera to capture at such a high frame rate (pure conjecture). You can see how the effect fades when the buildings come into view.
• Use a pencil
*This was used with the front facing camera, try the back camera, it may capture better!

"Here is short piece improvised on Virus TI and Blofeld the first of july during a concert and poetry reading concert I gave in open air in Nîmes, at the "Atelier de la Margeride", the workshop of Robert Lobet, painter, sculptor and publisher with whom I published several books of poetry." Korg MicroSampler used as controller for the Blofeld.
