EVANS EE-3 Super Echo

via this auction

See abertronix (RSS) for more.

"Tape delay from the late 70's by Evans. Single bass/treble tone pot. Delay length is controlled by moving the record tape head closer or further from the play tape head. Simple system that works very well. This unit will self oscillate. Includes 5 spare tape loops and instructions to make your own."

Birthday party?
"alternate view performance video from 9/10/2011 at n.e.m.. the first, 4mm, video was shot from the back of the room with one camcorder. a second, 8mm, unit was used as the camera that captured stage imagery and was sent to video mixer. a side effect was to also record a video from a different, closer perspective and provide a different "look".
which do you prefer - ?
frank vanaman - euro-format modular synthesizer
dave vosh - euro-format modular synthesizer, critterandguitari tv-oscilliscope and videonics mx-1 video mixer."

"One night to be confused..."

In the over six years of running this site, synth art is one of the few things you still don't see often.

Synthwerks PGM 4x4 Programmer/Sequencer

"It is a 4x4 programmer much like the PP with Gate ins and push buttons instead of the pads (we sell the FSR-4s for that) and can be chained for 4x8 programs and stacked as high as you have cabinets (8x8, 12x8, 16x8 etc). If you hold down all four buttons for a few seconds it will turn into a sequencer with the gate in and buttons now doing duty as Clock, Reset, Run and Stop. The sequencer mode is also stackable and chain able. We will also be making controller/combiner modules that will double the rows and allow turning one 4x4 into a dual 8-step etc. and other cheaper pot and switch matrixes that will allow a modular approach to making the sequencer you want. The protos are working now and we should be showing them at NAMM by the latest. Theses won't really be for people with PPs already, I'm sure Tony's new units will work better for them. Ours are for people without PPs who want similar abilities.

Make Noise ANALOG MEMORY

"Analog Memory adds 5 more CV outputs (for total of 8) to the Pressure Points/ BRAINS system. Use with or without BRAINS. Run with 4 Pressure Points for 128 memorized voltages! Set above or next to Pressure Points. All 5 CV outputs 0 to 5.5V."

Make Noise Optomix

via Make Noise

"The Optomix is a direct coupled, two channel low pass gate utilizing 4 vactrols to provide simultaneous voltage control over amplitude and frequency content of a signal. It is in essence, a VCFA (Voltage Controlled Filter Amplifier). Additionally the Optomix offers a summing stage complete with an AUXiliary IN allowing for the chaining of multiple units to create larger mixes (this also works well in combination with the modDemix).

The DAMP parameter, unique to the Optomix, allows the artist to program the way the low pass gate responds to a decaying control transient, such as an envelope signal generated by MATHS or a Gate applied to the STRIKE INput (see below). DAMP is continuously variable from long, slow and ringing to short, fast and muted.

The STRIKE INput, also unique to the Optomix, allows the artist to use a typical 8V Gate signal to trigger the Low Pass Gate circuit by “plucking” or “striking” the vactrol, thus allowing it to impart its magically slow response time upon the amplitude of the signal being processed. Combined with the DAMP parameter, STRIKE allows for the programming of percussive sounds (sharp Attack w/ Voltage Controlled Decay) without the need for a voltage controlled envelope generator.

The benefit of direct coupling is that a channel of the Optomix could be used to process control signals.

This module is 8HP and consumes 29mA worth of current."

100% Aalto - Universal Clock (Original Mix) by Point Source
"A small tune i've made using a few instances of Madrona Labs's Aalto, killer synth!!

All sounds from Aalto, no effects applied! Only EQ and Compressor to make the elements sit together."

100% Slim Phatty by Point Source

"Another cool experiment multitracking slim phatty!

Hope u all enjoy!"

"ANother experiment using 8 tracks of Slim Phatty!"

"Another quick demo, same thing, this time sampled double detuned square waves and created those patches. All sounds from slim phatty, applied chorus, phaser and reverb."

"Hi there! Well, why do wee need a polyphonic analog synth if we can turn our monophonic moog into polyphonic?? lol

Doing some experiments here, for each track i recorded a note for a chord, then recorded into another track the full chord and loaded into ableton's simpler! This way we can play chords with moog!

All sounds from moog! Only applied effects."

"This time i sampled a lot of diferent notes and waves, and played using ableton's sampler!"
