Analogue Solutions HH88 Eurorack Dual Hi Hat Module
via this auctionNoisebug (RSS)
"Dual HiHat
- 2 drum sounds in 1 module -
OPEN and CLOSED hihats
Width 10HP
Requires 5V
Based on the TR808 Hi-Hat sounds. Both open and closed sounds are provided meaning this is 2 drum sounds in one. When played together the 'muted' sound is obtained. The inclusion of a tune control allows greater variation in sound. A 'Source' audio output provides the raw waveforms for external use and processing.
The HH88 is an accurate replica of the TR808 hihat drum sound. The module is entirely discrete analogue circuitry, based as closely as possible on the original.
The HH88 has addition of a Tune control for both, and Decay on the closed hihat sound.
The two hihat sounds are made up of six filtered square wave oscillators, fed through separate VCA’s controlled by envelopes (a VCA and EG per hihat sounds).
The HH88 can produce more than just hihat drum sounds. The HH88 has the addition of a decay control for the closed hihat and the decay time for the open hihat has been extended. This enables TR808 cymbal style sounds to be produced.
Controls & Sockets:
Tune, CH Decay, CH Level, OH Decay, OH Level.
CH Accent, CH Trigger, OH Accent, OH Trigger, CH Audio out, OH Audio out, Source out"
Vintage 70's Freeman String Symphonizer
via this auction
"In my opinion the sound of the Freeman Symphonizer has a richness and complexity unlike any other string synth. It is as rare as it is unique. It was the first string machine ever produced! (Mr. Freeman actually invented the concept of a "string machine.") It is also the largest string machine I have ever owned and features a full 61 key keyboard and on board spring reverb. The reason to own this Freeman is the sound. It has a very unique and BIG sound. Cosmetically this Freeman is rough from being toured in the 70's BUT no expense was spared in fully restoring every inch of this machine mechanically so it plays and sounds as good as if you went back in time to the 70's and bought your own.
Everything that needed to be done was done including a complete keyboard rebushing. This machine was professionally owned/toured and then put into storage so it did not need that much work to get it perfect. The Freeman weighs 75 pounds and measures 38x33x9 so shipping will be a little expensive, please contact me for an exact shipping quote if you live outside of the USA I may be able to get it to you cheaper than the ebay shipping calculator depending on your location. I do NOT have an original pedal for this one but I have tested it with an original Freeman pedal from my near mint Freeman and it works great. (I would be charging way more for my near mint Freeman with pedal) It would be pretty easy to build your own or modify an existing pedal to work with the Freeman. In conclusion, the Freeman is not in great cosmetic shape (but still looks cool), It works perfectly, has been fully restored, and recently serviced."

"Here is a rare one you don't see too often and one of about 72 made. This one is in excellent condition and working 100%. It has been serviced and needs nothing. As you can see, this one has the 99 patch memory bank (see the pitch/mod section.) It also has the factory "interval tune modification" (internal.)"

Custom Roland Jupiter-8 Reproduction Keyboard Controller
via this auction
On to the back side of the unit: midi IN and midi OUT, jacks for sustain pedal (not included) and output are easily accessed. Internally, a 2.5 watt amp and speaker which is loud, clear and active until a ¼” plug is plugged in, then the speaker is silenced and all audio is redirected though this stereo output jack. Drawing less than 10 watts (unlike the real one you can fry an egg on), we keep it on and set to Sawtooth . . . certainly a surprise when people touch the keys and find sound coming from the unit itself! This unit generates no heat and never goes out of tune.
Now, this keyboard is actual size (it’s a monster) at 43-1/4” wide, 6” high and 19-1/2” deep and weighs in at about 35 lbs. Built entirely of high-grade MDF, marine plywood laminates, our Jupiter is very strong, very well built and easily moved or carried. As a model however, it needs be treated with same care a real JP-8 would require: liquids, small children and cigarettes should stay away.
You may have seen our ¼ scale JP-8 model that sold on ebay last month, or maybe the “black plastic side cheeks for the Juno-60” we produce . . . Our commitment is keeping this classic equipment at the forefront of the modern studio. This project is a result of that total commitment and the experience we have in this area. "
