"It has a joystick that triggers 4 seperate tunable oscillators. Each oscillator has a type selector toggle in the up position they are all normal vco low to high pitch in the down position they are lfos 2 are fast lfos 2 are slow. there is an optical theremin effect that distorts and modulates the sound from the joy stick this effect an be toggled on or off. its sound is controlled by a light sensor that reacts to light you can manipulate the sound with a flash light or laser pointer or any kind of light. more light higher less light the lower."

" it has main vco can be toggled on for sustained sound or momentary press and release via the one key. this is a one toothed noise synth. the vco pitch is controlled by knob. there are 2 different lfos for modulation with on off toggle and type selection toggle. there is an 8 octave divider that can be controlled by touching the 8 body contacts to the big body contact or the first 4 octaves can be sustained by toggle. on the upper half of the synth there is a blast button this trigger an envelope this section has bypass toggle pitch knob controls how high the env goes env knob controls the attack the pitch toggle lets you manual sustain the frequency with the knob. very crazy noise machine."

via drmoonstein: "Hello and thanks for looking. this is a hand built noise machine built by me. it has 3 oscillators each one with on off and type selector toggle. main vco for sound and 2 lfo for modulation. there are 3 volume controls each one is a different octave of the synth sound. it has voltage control knob. the main vco can be controlled by knob or b y using the optical theremin light sensor. the sensor reacts to light more light higher pitch less light lower pitch very cool experimental instrument. runs on 9v dc -tip power supply. like typical guitar pedals. (power supply not included) has 1/4 audio output. check out the video feel free to ask any questions."

Three pics and some details via this auction

"hello and thanks for looking at my noise stuff. this is a hand built noise machine built by me. here is how it works the green knobs are vol. knobs for each octave. you have 5 vcos that are triggered by steps of the sequencer. each vco has pitch knob and led indicator. the sequencer has a rotary switch to choose between 1-5 steps or reverse after five. so it can go back and forth. there is also a tempo knob. you have on of toggle and noise toggle. the noise toggle makes it sound all deranged and dirty. runs on 9v dc-tip power supply like standard guitar pedals. power supply not included. has 1/4 inch audio output feel free to ask any questions."

Update: some pics and description for the big 5step via this auction:

"this is a hand built noise machine built by me. can be used as stand alone noise machine or sick noise effects on other instruments. it has a 5 step sequencer. each step has an independent vco. thats pitch can be adjusted from low to high. they are mixed together thru a octave divider that takes ther main pitch and divides it into 3 octaves that can be mixed together via 3 independent volume knobs. it has a 1/4 inch out put. next to the sequencer there is a dual oscillating ring mod effect i call the dirty ringer. ithas 1/4 inch in and out 2 pitch knobs starve knob and filter knob and mute. then it also has a divide shift and degrade effect with 1/4 in and out toggle for on and bypass with 8 octave knobs check out the video for demo on how this thing works. very cool one of a kind noise machine. the enclosure is made of recycled wood and metal and has an old guitar amp handle. all electronics are new. runs on 9vdc -tip power supply that is INCLUDED FREE. if you want one with a longer tail it works fine with one spot or boss power supplies. that are 9vdc -tip"

distorted groove adventure

Published on Nov 30, 2013 pianoloft·238 videos

"after an introduction with a pattern of the korg em-1 and some samples, played with the roland sp 404sx, another drum phrase (korg er-1) is added, run through the weathermachine of dr. moonstien (http://www.youtube.com/user/drmoonsti...), which adds heavy distortions. that blue handbuilt machine with that nice wooden encloser alters the drumsounds in an extreme way. later on the postcard weevil by bugbrand and some sounds from rota synth by trax, run through the wmd geiger counter, are added. a lot of different distortion sounds are gathering in that rather monotonous piece."

"GREAT EXPERIMENTAL INSTRUMENT. I TOOK ALL THE GUTS OUT OF AN OLD TOY GAME. THEN REPLACED THEM WITH SOME LOFI NOISE SYNTH CIRCUITS. I REWIRED THE KEYPADS TO PLAY THE DIFFERENT PITCHES OF THE SYNTH. THE SYNTH IS MONO PHONIC IT HAS 4 OCTAVES EACH ONE HAS ITS OWN VOL KNOB. THEY CAN MIXED TOGETHER THATS WHY IT MAY SOUND POLY IN THE VIDEO. IT HAS 2 LFOS THAT CAN BE TOGGLED ON OR MOMENTARY PUSHED ON BY PUSHING THE BIG BLUE ORB NEXT TO THE LFO. 2 OF THE KEY PADS ARE MARKED WITH X'S THEY ARE JUST EXTRA KEYS THAT DONT DO ANYTHING. IT HAS 1/4 INCH AUDIO OUT PUT. RUNS ON 9VDC-TIP POWER SUPPLY LIKE GUITAR PEDALS.(NOT INCLUDED) CAN RUN OF DAISY CHAIN. VERY FUN TO PLAY MAKES ALL KINDS OFF WACKED SOUNDS AND YOU CAN GET VERY BEAT CRAZY WITH IT. THE KEY PADS CAN GET STUCK WHEN PUSHED IN COCK EYED I DEMONSTRATE THIS IN THE VIDEO. THE LFOS HAVE SOME CROSS TALK WHEN IN SUSTAIN MODE. BUT YA IT IS WHAT IT IS AND I THINK ITS PRETTY RAD. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO..."
