ELSITA - Vintage Soviet 4 Channel Analog Drum Synthesizer

via this auction
"It was manufacture in November 1990 by well known soviet music instruments factory 'RMIF'.

Serial number of the unit - 6934.

Elsita has 4 identical channels of analog drum synthesis with Tone and Noise section on each channel and balance between them. The synth also has metronom that can be assign to 1,2 channels. The channels can work in two switchable modes - 1,2 / 1+2 and 3,4 / 3+4, so you can link 1+2 and 3+4 channels and trigger them from one signal. This can be useful if you need some multiple drum sound. The drum synth can be triggered from drum pads or from any audio source - Line Outs of the drum machine or soundcard etc. if you want to program it from sequencer.

Elsita can produce cool analog drum sounds with its own character from fat bass drums to noisy hi-hats.

This auction drum synth was fully serviced and in great working condition. The pots works without any noise on moving, all synth parameters 100% works as it should.

Trigger Inputs and Line Out changed from 5Din to a standart 1/4 mono Jack connectors, Phone Out changed on 1/4 stereo Jack.

Cosmeticaly device has few marks of time on body that you can see on actual pics bellow but overall it looks very good for such vintage music gear.

Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Rev 3 Fire Victim

via this auction

"Here is a Prophet 5 which was the victim of a fire in our studio. Though the flames never touched the synth, the room got hot enough to warp the last octave of keys as can be seen in the pics. This causes a few of the keys to stick when playing through the keyboard. Another result is that the P5 will shut down sometimes for no apparent reason. Maybe something overheats? Not sure. We have been able sometimes to keep it on for days, and other times it only lasts an hour or so. The led readout sometimes flickers off, but a tap on the panel brings it back. Once the unit shuts down, restarting brings it right back, and the memory contents survive. The key contacts probably need cleaning after the smoke, but we used the midi, which seems to be working fine. The panel is pretty darn clean, though the wood could use some oil or stain since the heat dried it out. Serial #4931."

Play.Record.Volume.Tone.

Play.Record.Volume.Tone. by DAEDSound
"Fun mix of a Buchla 200e and Roland TR606 Doodle. The 606 is being fed into the 207e preamp and then into the 292e Quad function generator in filter mode. The modifying LFO from a 259e is modulating that channel causing some controlled slow filter creeps.

The Envelope detector out of the 207e is triggering the primary 259e Oscillator. The 261e is being modulated in real time and by various programmed CV sources.
