via the listing: "Vintage Thomas Band Master Model 55 Serial 1086523 rhythm machine. It measures about 18½" x 12" x 8¼". We tested it briefly and it works. We dont remember if we pushed every single button , but we pushed at least 20 of them and they all work. The foot pedal works. The manual beat buttons work. The sound quality does seem thick and punchy(in our opinion) but not really that great. It sounds kind of 70's or 80's. The cabinet has some finish wear, scratches,etc..."

Jomox M Base 01 Analog Bass Drum Module

"The Jomox M Base 01 is an analog bass drum module with midi and memory. There are very many parameters for you to adjust, allowing you to acheive a wide spectrum of analog drum sounds with a focus on bass drums. The versatility of the unit allows from soft to very hard attacks, short envelopes or super long decays. There is also a midi syncable LFO. Many classic bass/kick drums like the 808 and 909 styles can be created and stored in memory.

The M Base is equipped with midi control of pitch allowing you to play it from a keyboard over a 3 octave range as a simple analog synthesizer! (try it through a fuzz pedal). There is also a trigger in jack for drum pads or external audio. The size and versatility of the unit will easily allow you integrate the unit into you studio or live setup. (use it as an expander for your digital drum machine or sampler and feel the results!) The M Base 01 is the precursor to the M Base 11 which adds a couple of features, but the two units are almost the same."

"Runs off of 6 "C" cell batteries or 9 volt power supply(batteries and power supply not included). Sounds great, made in Japan, pre-Mattel . Stereo output, 3 memories, headphone jack, tone controlled tom-toms, accessory jack. Box is in pretty shabby condition. Nothing else included - just the machine and box."

LYRICON II WIND SYNTH

"The Lyricon was invented by Bill Bernardi and Roger Noble of Computone Inc. in Massachusetts in the early 1970's. Three models were built: the original Lyricon I (additive synthesis, one oscillator split into different overtones), the Lyricon Driver (to be connected to an external analog synthesizer through Control Voltages), and the Lyricon II (with two oscillators, filter and LFO). No MIDI functionality was added because MIDI didn't exist yet. Later MIDIfication modules were developed by JL Cooper & STEIM, but never worked very well. Of the Lyricon I, about 200 units were hand made, and about 250 units of the Driver and the Lyricon II were manufactured by Selmer.

The Lyricon reacts to wind pressure (the harder you blow, the louder the sound), lip pressure (for pitch bend and vibrato) and of course changes in pitch by fingering. Some people call it the synthesizer that is closest to the human body, because of these three control parameters, and because of the fact that it works with (continuous) control voltages, rather than MIDI."
