"The unit appears to be working fine to the best of my knowledge, all the keys and knobs and sliders worked fine when I tested accordingly to the owner's manual."

"The unit was only producing small noise at the start, but after trying few different settings I noticed the keys make sound when I turned the VCF filter switch to HPF. It wasn't producing sound in LPF, and only small level sound in BPF.

I'm not a technician and I'm not sure what actually the problem is, but I guess VCF is not working properly. Except for the VCF part, all other knobs and switches including the ones on VCO and VCA seem to be working fine. All the keys are producing sound as well."
Just a reminder, I'm capturing condition info for auction posts that include serial numbers. That way we can search on them and look up their history.

"The unit appears to be working fine, but one issue with this is that the bender wheel has a bit of damage, and the LFO-MOD function above the bender is constantly on without leaning the bender upwards. Sideway bend works fine, but the bender gets stuck when you bend it to the right, which I guess could be done with some adjusting."

"This is the very rare, hard to get SammichSID. This is a synthesizer, sequencer, arpeggiator, FX processor. This product was originally released by a website called ucapps/MIDIBox in very small limited quantities. It was released as an unassembled kit, with electronic components that had to be soldered. This version is from the extremely limited, very first run. This unit features a 12v power supply.
It was assembled by a professional (by a MIL-SPEC certified solderer, and he has been soldering for over twenty years.) As you can see, this unit has the 24 x 24 red (ultrabright) LED matrix and the logo in the top right corner. It also has 5 banksticks that can store up to 128 patches each. Examples of patch categories include Lead, Bass, Brass, Pads, Waveforms, Drum Kits, Arpeggios, Sequences, and 303 style bassline sequences. This box has more operations than I can possibly mention.
Other features include several oscillators with multiple waveforms, filters (each channel = 1/2 or both), 6 assignable LFO's with multiple waveforms and Sample and Hold, 2 Extended Envelopes, 8 seperate Modulators with a ton of options for each one, an internal apreggiator with extensive control over various functions like time division swing direction range and more. There is also an internal sequencer that provides options for control over position, note, octave, accent and more. MIDI features include send/receive clock, CC control, note on/off, systex. There are MIDI In and MIDI Out ports, one 1/4" audio input and one 1/4" audio ouput and an on/off switch. Power Supply Included.

This box has so many options its in a category of its own. The functions and possibilites are unlimited with the SammichSID. There are several banks that have presets already programmed, some of which are my own. All of the original material included with the firmware is still on the machine as well as several more banks that have been added over the time of ownership. This machine works great, and does not have any defects inside or out."

"It has 2 oscillators, which can be triggered by an audio signal via the front jacks (there are no jacks of any kind on the back). The unit is supposed to replicate a kick drum, and it comes reasonably close, in a 1970's washed out fashion. It does not kick hard, but it does have a long decay setting. It also makes those disco bloops and bleeps you've heard so much of. Where this thing really shines though, is in making noise. It has a long 'sweep' knob, coupled with a tone 'tone' and 'decay' knob that can make a sound fo from gowl to scream in a very guttural way. If you're familiar with Wolf Eye's, they use it on just about every track."
