"Here's a pretty well kept specimen of the amazingly smooth Roland RS-202 string machine. This one carries more important features than their first machine of course; primarily the chorus/ensemble. This is the first unit to use that famous Roland effect I guess and it found it's niche in the disco era or..visa versa..."

Yamaha CS20M SN 1155 with Original Box

Anyone know how this works?: "There are two knob colors. One correlates to the parameters which may be saved. But the tunings for instance are not saved so that there is absolutely nothing digital in their control. So you get perfect smooth pitch control unlike so many of the synths with storage from the era. . It's snapshot memory. ie. you can't edit once you save so you have to take a photo or something to remember your patch settings if you want recreate them easily. But I just find it very useful to be able to save and store on disk patch settings at least. But you can go knob crazy with this one and it's just LUSH!"

"This is an Oberheim OB-SX analog synthesizer with 6 voices."

Preset version of the OB-X/OB-Xa. Notice this one is grey. Later versions had the blue pinstripe. I always wondered if they were the same or if the grey was based on the OB-X and the blue on the OB-Xa. If anyone knows, feel free to comment.
