"This stereo pulse modulator surely is one of the earliest pedals EH ever made, even down to the Dymo labeling on the back. It's like a weird kind of vibrato or tremolo - modulates the input volume and adds beats or pulses to it. The timing of these is adjusted using the dials. It has RCA jacks (and will come with four 3' long cables), which suggests it was meant for home use almost as if you'd plug it into your stereo system, however this would result in very bizarre outcomes indeed. As it is you'd need a stereo guitar or keyboard rig to experience all of its functions. The beats are irregular and don't line up in an orderly array as you'd expect with a modern tremolo or vibrato device. While I don't know for sure I suspect this is an intrinsic feature of the unit. The internal electronics are clean and show no sign of modification. So here's the bottom line: this is a peculiar unit with potentially few practical applications. If you're intrigued by what it does, or if you're an EH completist, or into sonic experimentation, then you should consider it. If you're looking for something that you can use immediately as a modern tremolo or vibrato effect, then I would get something else."

"Analogue Modular Synthesizer with three independent VCA's. This is a 1U 19" rack module with 3 Voltage Controlled Amplifiers. It has it's own PSU built in so is easy to interface with your existing modules. Fully compatible with Euro Modular and all systems using standard CV's. 110VAC and 230VAC switchable.

A very useful module for all things Analogue Modular And Synthetic. I always think the VCA is an underestimated module within any synth set up. But a good balance is always required and the VCA is essential for patching, modulation and signal processing.

This module has some interesting features inc. simultaneous Log and Lin modulation. VCA 1 Has an inverting signal input which makes Voltage control of Resonance on a VCF easy without the need for extra modules. With a combination of Modulation and Signal levels some nice controlled and smooth signal distortion can be introduced.

If you consider the cost of these as individual modules and space they would take up in your rack your getting a good deal.

Approximately 5 Years old with very careful use.

1 0f only 10 modules made.

The 7 module range was designed to demonstrate the new SMS range and to complement the SMS MARS P7 system at the 2007 Musikmesse in Frankfurt but was never officially released."

"Manufacturer's DescriptionSeen where the sound of success was heard, the SE-1 recreated the power of the classic Moog tone and far more. The distinctive Oberheim filter and numerous additional features helped to make this Hiphop and R&B legend the serious professional's source for the boominest basses and smoothest, wormiest leads on the planet. The SE-1X continues in this tradition; remaining true to its roots, while stepping up its functionality and form; wide open to future expansion and exploration via its Flash-ROM operating system and dedicated creativity of its supernal sound designers.

Features

Made In The USA!
Multi-Filter Powered -- Classic Mini, for the greasiest basses and warmest leads and the once upstart Obie, for that 12db boomy boxy reediness ala "Basic Record." Discrete? Yep.
Three Oscillator Core -- Three Oscillators with combinable triangle, saw and variable pulse width square waveforms make programming the root of your sound as thick and tight as you need it to be.
U Send Me Smoother -- Doubled up front panel resolution (from the SE1) and a clever "smoother" circuit make tweaking pots & throwing around switches a far silkier experience––via MIDI too.
External Audio Input -- Process unbalanced signals to balance your creativity. You decide what's crucial. Everything that usually affects the OSCs hugs and shapes your SE-1X's input info."
