FARFISA SOUNDMAKER Analog Synthesizer 1979 | HD DEMO

Published on Dec 26, 2012 by AnalogAudio1

"I played the Farfisa Soundmaker with a Roland DC-30 analog delay.

The Farfisa Soundmaker is a string synthesizer from 1979. It looks a bit like a Synclavier :-)

It has a string section, a "poli" section and a monophonic synthesizer section. The keyboard has aftertouch. Also it is possible to run the polyphonic section through the filter of the monophonic section - like seen in the last part of the video."

"(c) 2012 vintage synthesizer demo track by RetroSound
"Clouds"

all sounds (self-programmed): Roland Juno-60 Analog Synthesizer (1982)
recording: multi-track without midi
fx: a little bit delay and reverb

for me is the Roland Juno-60 one of the Top 3 analog synths ever. perfect sound, perfect user interface, perfect design...
in bass and pad sounds beats the Juno-60 the top model Jupiter-8."

New MS20 & KingKORG Analog Synths Coming from KORG?

via Nahuel Mijal on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

These pics appeared on an Argentinian website but have since been pulled. The KingKORG complete with the Empire State Building and a new MS20.  The KingKORG looks a bit like an Kawai K5000S/W.  The name?  You can judge for yourself.  A new MS20 makes sense considering the Monotribe and Monotrons along with the Legacy MS20iC, but the question there would a keyboard Monotribe with additional knobs make more sense.

According to Nahuel, the MS20 was listed at "4700 argentinian pesos (more or less, 700 USD, but we pay almost a x1.5 price)"

Phonogene Day 1 - WowWow

"An improvisational jam with the Phonogene on the first day after installing it. It was overdubbed with a version of the drum beat that stands in for timekeeping as well as a vocal sample "woo ooh wow" which are overdubbed, then altered using the "Gene" and "Slide" controls, with a bit of pitch/speed variation toward the middle of the track. The phonogene is running through the Z-DSP high pass stereo filter to give it some spread and body. There are 3 LFOs running to gently alter the functions of the Phonogene, and I am manually manipulating a number of controls throughout."
