"4 OP synthesis like a DX-11. 8-way multitimbral operation with any number of voices (up to 8) on each part, over up to 8 different midi channels. Each voice can be routed to left, right or both outputs.

The synth will allow modulation to respond to wheel, after- touch, pedal controller or breath controller. Sysex dumps, etc. are supported. Voices can be copied to the 96 user patches, but editing requires an FB01 editor. There are 240 presets to choose from. Lots of electric pianos and organs, other keyboards, strings, brass, basses, some leads, a few percussion, some guitars, some SFX, etc.

Display is an orange LED, visible from pretty much any angle except below. 8 front panel buttons lead you through a list of functions that are summarised on top of the unit. The FB01 itself is 1/2 rack wide and was rack-mountable as a pair with an adapter Yamaha offered, a simple rack shelf would work."

Anyone know if an iPad editor for the FB01?

SYNARE 3X Analog Electronic Drum Synth

"The Synare synth drums are very underrated for what they can deliver which is a diverse range of synth tones.

Everyone has heard the classic 70's disco drum sound but the Synare is capable of a lot more.

Fat bass tones, a huge palette of analog drum & synth sounds, plus wild sound effects.

It has 2 oscillators which can deliver fat, complex and rich bass tones easily on par with the big names of vintage synths!

It also has a sweet-sounding analog filter with resonance that can self-oscillate, as well as other sound modifiers like decay.

The 3X has several presets but the fun begins on the 'manual' setting ('0') where a huge variety of sounds awaits.

Some possible uses are electronic noise / snare drums for drummers live - or for dub FX live like various UK sound system legends who use Synare like Jah Shaka - or to sample in order to create your own synth drum kits or sampler instruments like synth bass.

The Synare 3X is triggered by striking the top surface. It is also possible to modify Synares to be triggered by external audio or pulses if you connect a switching jack to the leads coming from the internal speaker.

The 3X has an internal switch (I am not sure if this enables external triggering via one of the 1/8inch jacks).

The 3X has 2 x 1/8 inch jacks which are for a DC power supply and to connect a 2cnd unit.

Comes with hardware so it can be attached to a drum stand.

The 3X does not come with an internal battery holder so you would want to secure batteries with gaffer tape or use a power adapter.

The oscillator 2 knob with the Synare 3X in this auction appears to be wired in reverse so the pitch goes up when you turn it to the left. For the rest it functions perfectly.

This drum has slight signs of use on the chassis and striking pad.

Runs on 2 x 9v batteries (included in this auction) or an external power supply (not included)."

"Lovingly cared for and maintained by EAR's in New York. This is the original MK1 version with the 35 filter. Much phatter and MS20 sounding than the second version. Lower base and fuller sound..."

"Analogue Solutions Tereshkova modular synth in black color. This is just like a Vostok V2 with all updates plus an extra LFO and two more VCAs instead of the matrix (which is a bit redundant on the Vostok). Never even used! Got this recently but need funds for other projects right now. Only took it out to take pictures! See pictures below for more details. Includes power cable and 10 patch cables. This is an amazing deal on a feature packed analog synthesizer. You can get some awesome sounds, with very versatile patching along, it's like a prebuilt eurorack and a great way for beginners to get into euro format or for others to add to their growing collection.. Loads of features, ring mod, x-y joystick, sequencer, VU meter, and very useful midi-cv, all in a small portable package..."
