TAL-U-NO-LX - Roland Juno-60 Emulator

"TAL-U-NO-LX is a complete rewritten emulation of the popular hardware with a new engine and GUI. Up to date zero feedback delay filters and carefully calibrated controls make this synth a good replacement for the analog device with all the advantages software plugins have. As an addition, the TAL_U-NO-LX also supports portamento and different filter LFO waveforms and some more useful features. An arpeggiator with different sync modes and hold function is also included. A very fast envelope with a smooth roll-off, emulated inaccuracy and a very smooth filter sound gives this synth the typical sound. The synth was calibrated after a hardware device that's property of TAL."


"Compares the HW Juno 60 with the Software "emulation" with some default Factory A presets. The Juno 60 always plays first. This gives an idea how the emulation sounds. It should be possible to get better results with some more preset fine tuning."


"Hereby we proudly present our demo track for the upcoming, and marvelous U-NO-LX VSTi from TAL. Since we're betatesting this plugin we thought it would be nice to make a nice demo for TAL to show what this, really good emulation of the Roland Juno-60, is capable of.

For this track we used only 20 instances of the beta version of this plugin and the Precision Limiter from UAD on the mainbus to make the track a little bit louder. So no EQ, Compressors, Reverb and Delay or other plugins. In other words this is what the plugin is capable of and your listening to the RAW sound of this beauty!"

"Crumar Nerve Centre 15 is an analogue drum machine that was build into a number of Crumar's organs from the mid 1970's. I took this particular specimen out of an old defective organ some years ago (and made a video of it) and now the time has come to find out how it works so that I can use it for something.

One very special thing with this drum machine is that there is a separate row of selector switches for the auto-accompaniment so that you can pick and chose independantly - in other words it is possible to combine for instance the samba rhythm with waltz bass and arpeggio (not that it would sound very good but it is possible). I wonder why so few organ companies came up with that idea. It makes the auto-band much more flexible and it only costs an extra row of switches.

The music in something I made on Yamaha HE-8 and Technics SX-C600 organs, Roland SH-2000 synthesizer and TR-66 Rhythm Arranger drum machine, and the little Casio CZ-101 phase distortion synthesizer."
