Lyynk Demo Prophet 12
Published on Oct 14, 2013

"Demo of the Prophet 12 in a vintage, old school style's with sometimes a little FM, Drive.
No external eq (I used LPF and HPF of the synth for that) , no external FX and no External Audio Processing.
I have not used factory sound but preferring create own sounds
I just recorded, mixed (volume only) and applied fade in, fade out in Cubase. For spacialisation I used the Pan Spread and sometimes an LFO set to pan.
I wanted to show what can be the raw synth tools without additional productions."

"Formanta UDS is powerfull 7 channel analog drum synthesizer, produced by the same FORMANTA factory in Kachkanar city where mades famous Polivoks synths in eighties. It has 5 identical channels (which can be used freely) for BASS DRUM, HIGH TOM, MIDDLE TOM, LOW TOM, SNARE and two channels for Hi-hats and Cymbals. The synth has also built-in beatbox with 16 patterns. The beatbox and the synthesizer are independent modules so they can work at the same time freely and you can tweak the generators of the beatbox patterns. Full freedom. Each channel has trigger Input on a standart 1/4 mono Jack and two additional Inputs for pedals. It can be triggered from drum pads like Simmons or any audio source - Line Outs of the drum machine or soundcard etc. The synth has two parallel mono Outs (1/4 Jack and 5Din) and two parallel stereo Outs (left-right on 1/4 Jacks and 5Din). It also has 5Din socket for Rhythm-Stick hand controller. This is an armored antitank piece of gear and the sound it produces is very unique!.."

via the seller: "Roland SH-101 which comes with a Phillip Rees Little MCV MIDI to CV converter, a pair of 3.5mm to ¼ inch jack leads for CV and gate, a device I made to filter out the hum from power transformers, a midi cable and a couple of patch leads as I have a few spare - they may be useful if you intend to use the MIDI to CV for other equipment...
I have calibrated the tuning so the octaves are correctly spaced and I also removed the keyboard assembly to clean the keys as best I could, though didn't disassemble the actual assembly. I have also given all the plastic knob caps a clean and cleaned and lubricated all of the potentiometers (sliders and knobs). There was some surface rust (probably battery leakage?) on the bottom plate and on a bit of the keyboard assembly which I have scrubbed off as best I can..."
