Circuit Slices Eurorack Synthesizer ADSR Envelope Generator

This is the first Circuit Slices post. The seller also has a power bus listed here. Details for that captured further below.

"Pre-production units from a company making synthesizer modules in the Eurorack format. This is a new, 4-stage, ADSR module, sold before going to market, with a starting bid well below the retail price (typical prices for other ADSR modules are $75 to $90, or even more). It includes a re-trigger input for multiple triggers -- while the gate input is high. If you don't have a keyboard or MIDI-CV with a trigger output, you can use the ADSR TRIG input for synchronous attacks and modulation effects, triggered by a master clock signal. Envelope generators with trigger inputs, were typical in some older analog synthesizers, such as ARP and EMU.

Specifications
Attack time: 1mS to over 5s
Decay time: 1mS to over 12s
Sustain level: 0 to 10V
Release time: 1mS to over 12s
Output level: 0 to 10V
Gate threshold: 2.5V
Power: +12VDC @ 3mA, -12DC @ 2mA
Panel width: 7 HP (35.24 mm)

"Skiff friendly" Depth: Only 1.4" with power cable (single PCB using SMT parts)

Features
“TRIG” input for re-triggered attacks
Logarithmic potentiometers for A, D, R
High-quality anodized aluminum panel
User selectable 'gate' from power-bus -- using PCB shorting jumper
Low power consumption
Includes power cable and two case screws"

"This is a power bus for a DIY Eurorack synthesizer case. The board has 14 power connectors for standard Eurorack synthesizer modules. All of the 14, high-quality (AMP), connectors are shrouded and keyed so that each module's power is applied correctly (see detail photo). Includes a 5V regulator (7805) for those modules requiring logic power. External power is applied at three "quick-connect" tabs or at a mini terminal strip. Three green LEDs show status of +12V, -12V and +5V. PCB size: 14" x 1.25" Requires an external +/- 12DC supply (+5VDC derived on board)."

808 Kick Drum Clone PCB

via Tindie Inc (via Laurentide)

"This is a near exact clone of the famous kick drum from the classic tr-808 drum machine. The only changes are for facilitating the common mods (extended decay and a pitch pot), and a slightly more flexible trigger input.

This can be triggered by a trigger output of a drum machine, or by a CV/Trigger from a modular synth, a cmos square wave, or even a loud audio transient. Alternatively you could wire a switch or button to send the trigger input high as well. (Basically a quick +V to the trigger input does the job).

It runs on +/- power supply, you can run 2 9v batteries in series, or run it off a bipolar (+/-15v or +/-12v power supply). Or... experiment!

This is an easy and cheap build - I have a Mouser BOM available here: http://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=950b04d9fc

Schematic is here: http://www.anestheticaudio.com/808bd_sc.jpg

Sherman Destroys Miami

"Sherman Filterbank 2 is destroying/filtering the fairly hot signal of Acidlab MIAMI drum machine. Both filters are in lopass mode, with high resonance and envelope and FM and AM and LFO and the whole enchilada on a free run fiddling session over the front panel. No music, just real time varying Sherman controls against MIAMI drum machine."

"It is possible to turn a Doepfer A-115 into a nice little weird sequencer. The result is often somewhat strange but always interesting; And it is also possible to play polyphonically the sequences created ! Some reverb added for a nicer sound."

My First Pure Data Patch by BrontoScorpioMusic

"I just found my very first Pure Data patch! I made this a few hours after I got PD some months ago.

It's a really silly patch, but it sounds surprisingly "good" for such a simply probability based thingy."
