"The MC-09 PhraseLab is an all-in-one production tool combining a DSP synth, step sequencer, four-part audio looper and effects processor. With this single instrument, musicians can create fat analog synth and rhythm sounds which can be sequenced and then sampled (along with phrases taken from external sources) using the four-part audio looper. An onboard effects processor and cool functions like Chop make the PhraseLab a killer remix machine.

Key Features:

- Tabletop synth/audio looper with onboard sequencing and effects
- DSP monosynth creates fat synth lead, bass and rhythm sounds
- Audio looper plays back 4 monaural phrases up to 6 sec. each
- Onboard step sequencer with easy programming including TR-REC method
- Easy automatic looping using BPM and measures
- Loop Control function for controlling loop playback via step sequencer
- 4 built-in effects: Filter, Isolator, Phaser and Slicer
- SmartMedia slot for pattern/audio storage; MIDI In/Out"

Whammy Christmas - Harlem Nights (Roland Juno 60)

Published on Nov 28, 2013 harlemnightsmusic·39 videos

"Season's greetings to all.. Some typical Wham sounds and a classic Paul McCartney song. The Juno 60 gave the main synth / organ sounds in Wham! songs like Wake Me Up, A Different Corner, Last Christmas.

Enjoy

the omnichord by folktek accompanying some song

"in the 80th suzuki built an instrument, which should work a little bit like a simplified guitar. the idea was just to press a chord button and strum away. the great american magicians of folktek (http://folktek.com/) modified that strange instrument, adding a lot of body contacts to influence the sound and the tones in different ways. that video demonstrates the modified version in context with singer lilian fritz. we are improvising "songs on the fly", just inventing the music at the moment. later on a piano is added, a sound from roland gaia synth and some modifications of the pianosound, useing the korg kaos pad 2."

Klangheim Project Computermusic made with Waldorf Pulse 2 and Arturia SparkLE

Published on Nov 28, 2013

"This is my new song 'Computermusik'. The most parts are made with the Waldorf Pulse 2 Synthesizer and for the drums I used Arturia SparkLE.
It´s a multitrack recording with Steinberg Cubase 7.
A few weeks ago, after listening the first time to the new Waldorf Pulse 2, I found some presets which reminds me the first time dancing in a disco with 15 years. Do you remember Human League, Depeche Mode and Ultravox? This was all happening in the early eighties. I love that sound, which represents an era where many musicians made music with synthesizers and computers the first time.
This song is based on this decade. I hope you like it."
