Original Vintage Buchla 200 Orbital Test
Published on Dec 14, 2013 scienceforce·42 videos
"This is a small "space sounds" demo on an old original Buchla 200 system. This is a vintage system in exception of one module inside (time machine)
I must to admit that the features of this magic box are really incredible and unique, I love it very much and after 3 hours of full combinations I would like to play it again :-: :-:"

Elektron Analog Keys Now Shipping, Serial #1 Auction for Charity
via Elektron
"The first serially produced Analog Keys is earmarked for charity. On Wednesday 11th of December the unit was seen in a live charity performance, arranged by MusikhjÀlpen, on Swedish national TV. Swedish pop act Wintergatan used it elegantly in their song Starmachine2000.
That particular Analog Keys, bearing serial number #1, is currently up for auction. The money raised will be used to help pregnant women all over the world to survive their pregnancy.
The winner of the auction will also get flight tickets from Gothenburg to Frankfurt to attend the world's largest music fair - Musikmesse Frankfurt - between 13 and 15 March, where Elektron will showcase their innovations. Furthermore, two nights at a comfortable hotel and an evening with the Elektron team including geek talk in the wee hours are part of the package!"

Vintage 70s Russian Soviet Musical Animation Featuring Synths
Shkatulka S Sekretom (TRANSLATED) Russian Soviet Musical Animation
Uploaded on Oct 29, 2009 StopFear·69 videos
This on in via James Jaret Kojac on Facebook. There's no synth animation, but the effects and much of the soundtrack are clearly synths. Curious what synths were used for it at the time.
"(this has been on YouTube before. This is different because it has been translated using YouTube notations)
This is a Russian Soviet animation done in style of Beatles' animation in Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine etc. You can clearly see the style is copied one to one. I have added subtitles to translate into English.
Whats also special about this cartoon is that it is one of the first of the many cartoons that started to appear on Television in 70s USSR that used synthesizer and electronic music ."
Also see: BEEP BEEP. BLOOP BLEEP. Switched On Road Runner and Coyote Cartoon
Update via Matthew on Facebook: "The song was written by Martinov (I don't know correct spelling) famous Russian cartoon song writer, the band that plays music called Oregon and it saying that it was recorded in experimental electronic studio. Sound like Junost thou"
