"Extras: 8 x CS-80 filters, 8 x Arp filters, boutique op amp upgrade with fuzz, sine wave on oscillator one and I also had the guys at SE add 8 x Moog VCAs, one on each voice card. They added 8 x switches on the front faceplate to toggle between the Moog VCAs and the SE op amp on each voice. They also did a thorough tuning and going over recently. Fantastic fun!!! Comes with printed manual and power cord. This the kitchen sink model of all Studio Electronic Omega 8/Code 8s!!!!"

Anyone verify the mod and reasons mentioned?

"Just had it serviced and everything is working, including a full tune and calibration. I did have one mod professionally done to it to help it stay in tune. Most old SH101's have a failing power button. Due to this they tend to tune/calibrate poorly. Instead of replacing the power button only to have it happen again in time, you can bypass the power button (so the synth stays on when plugged in) but this enables it to keep perfect tune everything time it's powered up. A vital mod if you want to record melodic music and play in tune across all the octaves! The only downside is it will not run off batteries anymore...but it's a mod definitely worth having so you can stay in tune. It does has some rust in the battery compartment, otherwise cosmetically it's in excellent shape. Rare mod grip is included but it is quite rusty. Includes power supply. A great keyboard for leads, bass and effects, with a useful built in sequencer and arpeggiator..."
