"This is an absolute perfect reproduction of the beautiful Buchla 296 Spectral Processor. If you've ever heard the original , you will know that nothing sounds quite like it. Sounds just as glorious as the original BUT , and this is important , it is much , much quieter. The original circuit , all though beautiful sounding , was quite noisy. Here you have all the beauty and hardly any of the noise. The original versions of these are pretty much impossible to find anymore , so don't let this slip away. Low reserve. Good luck."

The event will be held at Jaarbeurs Utrecht about 30 minutes away by train from Amsterdam. A slew of companies, labels, and artists will be making an appearance here including Roland, Korg, Ableton, Native Instruments, Armin van Buuren, and Hardwell to name a few.

Cross fader as Balanced Modulator

"Patch demonstrating the Korgasmatron's cross fader being used to creat ring mod type timbres.
AFG sine wave is the carrier patched into both sides of the cross fader and Z3000 mk2 sine is used to modulate the cross fader at audio rate tracking pitch along with the carrier.
A separate Env and VCA is used for the modulation index, creating the percussive attack.
As the sequence plays I tweak the cross fader bias to reveal more of the carrier signal."
