Roland DDR-30 "Full menu" demo
Published on Mar 5, 2014 AnalogyGuy·12 videos
"Since I still haven't seen as advanced DDR-30 demonstration as this one, I decided to upload it for everyone. It's been long time but I think I originally found this demo from old Ebay listing. Also by uploading this, I don't need to do better one by myself (I own DDR-30 too). Please let me know if the original author wants the video to be removed.
Roland's DDR-30 was their very first digital drum module from 1984. The module includes fantastic 12-bit crunchy and punchy samples mainly from Linndrum and Simmons drums but also some others too. But unlike other sample based drum modules, this one got quite advanced programmable dynamics.
The only famous artist I recall using DDR-30 was Klaus Schulze."

"I have had many friends tell me to watch Dr. Who and you know, I have wanted to get into the show for a long time. But the thing is, I will only get into it if I start from the very beginning. Well, recently I started doing just that, starting all the way back in the 60's in black and white with the 1st Doctor. While watching the show, I really fell in love with the theme song, and how it has stayed, for the most part, the same for all these years. So, here is my take on the theme song from Dr. Who. Share it with all your Whovian friends!
Note, I was crazy sick while recording this. Mostly this just meant 3x as many takes on each part, because my reflexes and muscle memory were not really "on". Anyways, hope you enjoy it."
Wiz-A-Tronic (909's Revenge)
"Inspired by Jeff Mills' TR-909 drum solo at Wire03 in Japan ... the 909 obviously had something to say about all this 808 DevilShark attention. Who do you think will win?"

"this is a sequencer I built with an Atmega arduino chip. the chip basically replaces the CD4017-or the like-but adds a few features like gate controlled reverse and random. The modules also has an offset input so you can use it like an arpeggio. there is no gate output but it does have an externally trigger reset."

Zvex Super Seek Wah
Published on Mar 4, 2014 bigcitymusic·306 videos
"Zvex pedals are typically used by guitarists, but we decided to see what the Super Seek Wah would sound like with a synthesizer instead.
The Zvex Super Seek Wah pedal has MIDI In (and MIDI Thru) which bypasses the internal Tap Tempo and allows for tempo synchronization to an external MIDI Clock!
A Cwejman D-LFO sawtooth wave has been routed through the Super Seek Wah whose sequencer is clocked via MIDI from a computer. The Cwejman D-LFO module's pitch is tracked via MIDI to CV from a Vermona qMi.
A Mellotron M4000D can be heard in the background.

YAMAHA DX7 + ELECTRIBE ES-1

"YAMAHA DX7とKORG ELECTRIBE ES-1で作りました。頑張ってみましたが、やればやるほど金属音(電動のこぎりのような音)になってっちゃうので困りました。それっぽくしといて録音、LiveのEQで無理やり...という、いつものパターンです。リズムパートはES-1。初代のやつです。サンプラーって楽しいな。"
