Published on Jun 25, 2014 zioguido·120 videos

"This is my One Man Band cover of 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder. I played all instruments: drums, bass (Mini Moog), the two Clavinet tracks and I made the brass using the analog synth Prophet 12. The vocals are from the original recording. Everything was recorded and filmed in my studio.

"Sorry for this little bit longer (over 20min) video.
Demo is starting at 2:25
Preset demo song "Disco" is starting at 6:00
Preset demo song "Lissajou" is starting at 9:30
Stupid short demo from scratch by myself is starting at 12:24

There is a story.
Last week "Sanodg" ( President of Detune Ltd. ) announced on his radio program that something new product will be released this 25th June in Japan, he never said what it is, never said what sort of and no more information , only said something new amazing product...

Then today is the day, Now I understand what is it. I was very surprised when I saw their website this morning because I never expected that the product is for Nintendo 3DS... and already downloadable today in Japan!, It is KORG DSN-12.

Virtual analogue engine of DSN-12 is almost same as KORG DS-10 but DSN-12 has 12 tracks, 3 FX can be used at the same time, max step is 64, has amazing oscilloscope function ( simulate analog type oscilloscope ! ) .... surprisingly improved from former DS-10 ...
Very interesting and amazing software synthesizer for Nintendo 3DS.

Buchla Acid Train

"Sounds a bit like a train.
The Acid comes mainly from the 258v & 262v.
I esp like the sound of the square wave on the 262v.

The 291r filter is lovely.
I'm just using the 222e as a standard touch controller. I'll use the rings in a later video.

"Analog synthesizers have been growing in popularity in recent years. Featuring simple operation that utilizes Nintendo 3DS stylus, the 'KORG DSN-12' software makes it easy for anyone to enjoy serious sound-creation and song production with analog synthesizers.

The software provides twelve monophonic synthesizers. Each one lets you add three effects, allowing a broad range of powerful sounds that you would not expect from a game machine.

You have seamless access to all of these synthesizers and their sequences. Since you can make your ideas take shape very quickly, you can enjoy constructing songs in real time while performing in a DJ-like manner.

You can assemble sequences into patterns, and memorize up to 64 patterns for use. Even more complex and interesting songs can be created by freely connecting these patterns together.

Don't miss the world's first* 3D display oscilloscope screen. A visual indication of the audio can heighten your interest and deepen your understanding of how sound is created.
* For Nintendo 3DS software as of September 2014

You can also use the communication functionality to exchange songs and sounds, encouraging collaboration between users."

Roland AIRA System-1 plus Korg EX-800

Published on Jun 24, 2014 Jim Atwood·134 videos

"Roland AIRA System-1 looped with a Boss RC-300 Loop Station.
Korg RK-100 Original midi'd to a Korg EX-800 for lead bass.

I was going to plug the RK-100 into the System-1, but couldn't really match the sound, so I elected to use the Korg EX-800. Otherwise, all other sounds are coming from patches I programmed on the AIRA System-1. Thanks for watching."
