"Elektor Formant is Moog- like style analog modular synthesizer designed by C. Chapman with 1V/oct. VCO charakteristics. Modules are connected internally together thus synthesizer is playable without using patch cords. Nevertheless, the interconnection has no effect to possibilities of a modular system. Plenty patch cords are attached to the instrument.

This Formant was precisely made in the Switzerland approximately in 1985-88. An appearance and working condition are very good, the synthesizer was serviced, adjusted, new interconnection between modules was made, electrolytic capacitors on the PSU are replaced.

Other accessories: Original documentation with schematics, patch cords, CV and GATE 6.3” conectors on the rear panel. Standard 230V power input. Weight 20kg, 54x61.5x27 (cm)

"This one was a test bed model at Oberheim and has received excellent care over its life. Produced in the 33 week of 1979 this is an earlier model and was originally a 4 voice. When they added voice cards they added the newer cards with the L.E.D. and placed them in an every other card pattern making it easy to know which voice was triggering. The unit was rebushed in 2008 and was tuned last week. The unit also has a Kenton midi kit installed."

"In absolute perfect shape, operationally and physically, this Korg 770 synthesizer looks and functions just as one would expect. It has a professionally installed 3.5mm/1/8" CV/Gate mod to allow this machine to be controlled by other CV/Gate equipment. All knobs, sliders and switches are fully operational and not missing any pieces. The wood end cheeks are in pristine shape and show little to no wear at all. There are very light scratches on the top that number in the very few; the keys are not yellowed, and the keybed is level."
